I have read the book:Michael Horeni "Die Bruder Boatend" (The Boateng Brothers) at page 178 chap.2, before a match German U 16 against Austria, a reporter asked Kevin how he was feeling playing for Germany? "I am proud"; he said. "But I am also a little bit Ghanaian"; He added.

It happens many a time, a profession footballer gets hurt and plays some few days. They have their Doctors.
I think still, Kevin Boateng wants to play for Ghana and not only willing to go to the World cup. He who knows it, feels it!

Some players are just unlucky and go through these spells when they get injured, recover, play a few games and get a recurrence of the same injury. This seems to be the case with Kevin. Yes, it does appear dubious but I do not for one minute think that Schalke will pull him out of an important game simply to prevent him playing for Ghana. One should not forget that he has also missed games for his club, the club will not connive with a player to such an extent. I think it is worth enduring the frustration that comes with dealing with KPB, the reason being Ghana winning the WC or not may to some extent depend on the availability or otherwise of this player. To win a WC, a team needs all its top class players. Kevin is definitely out of the top drawer. Fellas, lets be patient with this guy, it will come good at the end.

KPB is the only genuine striker in Ghana playing in the top flights and even the defence of Barca and Bayan shiver when he plays. So why should he pretend, just for the 12000 dollars or the shit about the useless medical facilities that we have in Ghana. Leave the boy alone to concentrate on his job. Don't 4get, he played all the matches at the expense of the players who fought so hard 4 GH to qualify 4 SA 2010.Don't 4get again his wanted to play for Germany and not Gh. In no time KPB resigned [we all know that primary class 1 reasons he gave]. Now! the immediate cause - BR 2014 is just at the corner, and he decided to come into the team again without playing a single qualification match for the 2nd time and he will be allowed/drafted into the team again at the expense [opportunity cost] of other players who' ve been fighting so hard for GH to qualify [if] to BR 2014. MR DONKRAH it's not a matter of GH needs him and not the vice versa or STUPID FOOLS. Please the BS is too big to be built around personalities. We should have a strong bench that is ready to go at any moment. KPB would definitely go to Brazil provided he is fit to play.
Ghana is going with all her big guns including KPB. Please stop this unnecessary debate on who plays in qualifiers and who goes to Brazil. We don't want to be mere participants no more. We need the world cup here in Africa, and this BS is the team appointed by destiny to do just that.
