Two people madly in love gets married, have children and later in life want to divorce? This entails a whole lot than just going before God. Until they identified what's leading to the divorce and are willing to correct those errors, I tell you what going before God will still be meaningless just like a blind going to a theatre to watch a movie.

The principles to avoid divorce in this situation is as follows: The couple has to identify their problems, acknowledge the problems, be ready to rectify and rectifying the problem. That's the only way out.

Having said that, the main deal is no matter what prayer they pray will matter if they don't identify the root of the problem, accept their faults and determine to fix, and fix it. The bible tells us to go make our world. It says we should be fruitful, multiply, replenish etc, doing all these per your will. This is one of the reasons why people rode on donkeys as means of transportation years back while we are flying from point to point in our time. They spoke about Philips transport but doubt it can happen in real life. We are the determining factor and we've got to play our part well. If you know very well that a lady is gradually drawing your attention from your wife, why should you keep going to her and praying to God? That's pure hypocrisy. Personally I think the issue may arise out of two possibilities. John Mensah have not played regularly for the past 5-6 years and therefore his earning potential will be diminished, agreed. Money is always one of the biggest causes of marital problems. When there's money, everything will be smooth but when money comes in spurts and lifestyles are forced to change, it becomes a problem.

One problem could be that John Mensah is cheating or have taken another woman as his main woman and therefore ignored his wife of more than 10+ years who may need financial help. See how she brought up the child been sick and taken to a Ghana-Canada Hospital and how hard it is to be a housewife? More than 30-50% of Ghanaian women in Ghana are housewives and we don't hear them sing the same sad song.
The second problem may be that Henrietta don't want to change her shopping and spending habits, even though John Mensah hardly plays, thereby emptying everything John puts in the couple bank account and John just got fed up with it. Remember John had not had a continuous employment for over a year in the last 5 years. Common sense teaches us that if you spend at a certain level and don't replenish just as much, sooner or later you'll be sitting in RED. What father won't want to talk to their children? Unless the mother is using the children are ransom for John to speak to the kids. Bogger, if you don't give me more money, you are not going to talk to your children and actually carryout the threat several times and then John just gives up. Anyone married knows how sharp the tongues of women can be when they are not getting their way.

Consider that fact also that Mensah was foreign-based as a player before the under-21 world cup and you'll see Henrietta never got with John because she loved him but rather because John can provide the fancy things in life for her and bring her all the glitzy things most women want.
