Egyptians cannot guarantee the safety of their own people. Why will they care about Ghanaians who have come to watch them get beaten? This is a bad idea. If they have only played one game in Cairo in the last two years, and the situation in Cairo now is worse than it was at that time, why take the risk? Actually, this match should never be played inside the country Egypt!

I will be shocked if the GFA allows the Black Stars to go and play that match anywhere in Egypt.
To begin with, the govt itself should step in and protest against playing the game on the basis that the current govt in Egypt is an undemocratic coup d'etat govt.
Secondly their most senseless and despicable murder and violation of the human rights of thousands of Egyptians makes it imperative that Egypt should be immediately boycotted or even expelled from the tournament by all well-meaning African countries.
There is no way that the security of both fans and even players of both sides can be guaranteed if the game is played in Egypt. Just recently the tactics of state terrorism unleashed by the Egyptian govt on its own people, killed over 60 Al Ahly supporters.
What can a govt that has no qualms at all about shooting live bullets into defenseless crowds of its own people, do for foreign players and spectators?

I bet that if what is happening in Egypt now was to happen in Ghana, the match would have been moved away long ago.
If FIFA is preaching fairness and against racism this is the time to demonstrate fairness. Imagine that the Senegalese stadium was banned when there was no single gunshot or bomb blast.

When Ghana was mysteriously matched with Egypt some CAF officials wished Egypt would stop Ghana from BRAZIL 2014. SHAME!!! Now that Egypt is ghasping for her last breadth some officials want the Black Stars to walk into a den of fire. Why is Sepp Blatter and Hayattou ashamed to come out to name a safer venue? It has happened to other countries before. The GFA must not send the Black Stars to Cairo. Let Egypt be given the victory and free 3 goals (like it happened to Benin-Ghana, Sudan-Zambia, Cape Verde-Tunisia). They still don't qualify; and our boys will be safe at home. SHAME on the MAFIA!

All Ghana is asking for is the safety of our players. The Egyptian FA should make it a point to find a safer venue. They cannot hope for peaceful and incident-free game when their fan are noted to be violent, hostile and uncontrollable! Football or more esp. the WC-2014 is not about preaching violence and chaos; it's about world peace and unity. This is what the Egyptian FA should understand.
As I posted 2 weeks ago before our match in Kumasi, everyone should write to FIFA HQ, Fifa Strasse 20, Zurich, Switzerland with their grievance, protest or request. We must let our voices heard along side that of GFA. That in the only way we could pique FIFA's interest, else nothing changes.
