Algeria football legend Rabeh Madjer has emphasised that Ghana is the best team in Africa now and does not think Egypt can overturn the 6-1 deficit in Cairo on Tuesday.
“We can talk about a surprise but by the magnitude of the score seems unthinkable. Egypt though remains one of the great football teams on the continent. They have a good team but the mission is almost impossible,” he told Cafonline.

That we could beat Egypt, 7 times African champions, 6-1 is evidence that anything can happen in football. But honestly speaking we achieved that feat because we were better than them on the day.
It is only when we do anything "stupid" in Cairo that we can be beaten heavily enough to be knocked out. To avoid being "stupid", the players must be focused, disciplined and always mentally alert. They must know that they are not playing against the referee. Under no circumstances should any player attract red card. The Egyptians will come with a plan to provoke some of our players so that they can over-react to attract referee's cards, particularly the goalkeeper.
I would be disappointed if KPB does not start. We need players who are fastest and strongest to start. This is why I would put someone like Sulley Muntari on the bench rather than Majeed, to enable KPB to start. Also, since we have a very good bench, the coach must make it a must for us to exhaust all the available chances for substitution before the match ends. Going by form, Ghana should win the Cairo encounter.
