What confusion? I had even thought about this before the game with Egypt in Kumasi. The good thing about Boateng is that he can play anywhere. Trust me he can also be a good defender at the central defense if paired with Essien but he may not be used as such because of his frequent injuries. I think this suggestion in the article is the best because he would then not defend too much to cost himself more injuries. Ghanaians should understand that suggestions for the coach are much better than those stupid criticisms often directed at him. Suggestions could sometimes catch his attention for a good cause, or as an alternative to an existing problem somewhere in the team.

Third, debating the issue does not mean taking over Coach Appiah's job. It is better to be pro-active than reactive.

Remember Prince has a bad knee. he just cannot play the entire game. On another note, Essien should also be coming off the bench. He is looking slow. I saw him with Chelsea today. He is a solid experienced player but I am not confident he can go for a full 90 minutes.

4-3-2-1 is an offensive scheme. Ghana don't have the strikers. The 2 are attacking midfielder/strikers. You have to keep a compact midfield. No way you could play 3 strikers. Remember the defense is very bad.

It is a good idea to play hi, as a striker with Gyan, Warris and Jordan and Accam as well. We have to score an average of 3 goals a match in Brazil if we are to go to semi finals / Finals so we need good finishers like Prince, Warris, Jordan Ayew, Gyan.i think their experience in Europe and Internayionally will help.
