  The first preparations Coach Appiah has to engage is quick accurate passing of the balls.Our professional players do good distribution of balls with their clubs but if it comes to the Black Stars, when they get the ball, they will continue running with the balls until they are tackled. This is not how we play the beautiful game. We have goalkeeping and defence problems as well.

  Nana, there are some problems the coach and the technical team were creating it for themselves. Currently, our #1 goalie Dauda is on the bench at Soweto and the #2 Kwarestic has won a championship league for his team. So why should we die while as it is not yet our time. The defence I think, if Vorsah, Iron Boy, Jonathan Mensah, Akamiko, Opare, Afull are all well before the Brazil, it could be ok.
  Ball possession is major wahala indeed. If we avoid to play as a team, we will not get far no matter what.

  When Ghana played Brazil in 2006, one commentator asked whether those in white are the Brazilians.
  Ghana need to improve on ball possession else there will be trouble for us.

  Is it true that a 13man delegation was sponsored by the NDC government to go to Brazil for the World Cup draw ? I'm told Boateng Gyan of NDC,and another NPP MP from Upper West are on the delegation.
  This is a good example of reckless dissipation of state funds by the Mahama administration. John Mahama went to the rooftop to announce to the whole world that he had cut his salary by 10% for national development,only to turn round to sponsor 13man delegation to Brazil to witness World Cup draw.
  I will not be surprised if John Mahama agrees to sponsor 25m Ghanaians to go to Brazil to witness the world cup. Mahama needs someone to advice him on Financial management.
  No president worth his sort would embark on such worthless escapade.
  Ghana will have the largest delegation for the Word Cup draw,and I know why. Majority in the group are from NDC en route to Bolivia to arrange for cocaine business. The world Cup draw offers a fine opportunity for the NDC Cocaine Business Group to travel to south America for the necessary arrangements.
  The NDC water police on the High Seas would be briefed by the group on their return for the estimated time of arrival of the ship carrying the goods.

Sports Minister to watch some top Brazilian Clubs and watch their matches and also by contacting the Brazilian Football Academy to enroll our Coaches there, at least 4-6 weeks refresher courses will help us a great deal.
  
  I'm posting this message to remind you that don't forget to get some insight 'info' about our plans towards the tournament. People may be taking us for joke, but we're bent on causing surprises at the WC-2014 if God so permits. It isn't going to be easy at all, but we'll do our best.

  Our friendlies should be against South American, Eastern and Western European and probably Japan again. We do not need to play any African side as we know their style of play already. Between now and the summer 2014, we should fit in a friendly every month if possible. If we are able to do that, it will enable this great team perfect its systems of play as well as keep up the needed competitive urge of the players. We prepare well, we do wonders at the WC, pure and simple really. Cos we clearly have the players, the technical know how (KA and his guys) and everything else one can think of at our disposal.
