For those based in Africa, Aboutreika is likely to win it but it would be between him and the Nigerian boy, Mmba who scored the Country's winning goal at AFCON.

Playing in Asia of all places and has not led his team to any trophy, jsut fourth place at AfCON. Objectively he should not win it should be Enyama, but I know many will disagree given the anti-Nigerian racism.

I think the black stars deserve better designed jeyseys at the world cup. This is a world stage and the country must give good impressions about itself. Let's don't let sponsors influence our designs too much.

I think the burgundy and yellow stripes we used in the last world cup looked really cute and nice. We should seek a design along similar lines.

Or if we want to bring the world's attention to ourselves even before we kick the ball, at the world cup, we should have jeyseys designed in our traditional kente colours to international quality standard, ie. if fifa rules allow the use of so many colours.

There are varieties of kente designs and we can have different sets of jeyseys to reflect that. I think kente jeyseys if well designed would look really nice and different from the norm.

In doing so, we'll be bringing the traditional kente onto the world stage. Can you imagine the buzz this would generate at the world cup?

Come on its not too late, let's have these designs please!! I suggest the goalkeepers use track suit trousers and long sleeves all in kente designs.

If this goes through, we would have been the first country in the world to have played in jeyseys made in our traditional colours and all the world's focus will be on us.

I suggest we have different patterns for every match we play.

In the end, I think this would be good in attracting tourists to Ghana.

The Ghanaian like the British ovehype their own but when matched against others outside the shores of Ghana; they are found to be average and just a semblance of quality they make everybody believe. Are you surprised no Ghanaian is in the EPL topflight league except Essien who has fallen off the perk at Chelsea,? The noisy Ghanaians whose Black Stars struggled to get to AFCON semi finals will tell the whole world they are going to Brazil for the cup just because they have reached world cup quarter finals in South Africa, laughable indeed. It's really startling why all these years,this award has eluded Gyan in the light of Ghana's performance in the WC. Without Ghana,the WC in South Africa would have been embarassing to the whole of Africa.It is undisputable that the WC is the highest level of soccer and in 2010 it was played in Africa for a memorable first time.The performance of Ghana brought much respect not only to Ghana but Africa.I think this surpasses winning the African cup which is clearly inferior. Was the Africa cup the criteria for naming four Nigerians in this show?How?What have these Nigerians achieved so far,apart from Mikel?My choice for Gyan is not predicated by the fact that i am a Ghanaian but on merit,he deserves it because of all these guys Gyan stands out.

PHOBIA - PHOBIA, You are the exact kind of Ghanaians who love to decieve themselves by tickling himself and laughing, when did you realise the world cup is superior to the AFCON, is it in the last 32 years Black Stars struggled to win it or in the last 2 world cup participations Ghana got to second round and quarter finals in South Africa,? Have forgotten other countries got there first before Ghana and even performed better than Ghana. When Ghana was struggling to qualify to the world cup it took the performances of the likes of Cameroon and Nigeria to convince FIFA to increase African slots for Africa that paved the way for the likes of Ghana to get through qualification in Germany. To you PHOBIA PHOBIA, AFCON is inferior hense Ghana attaches no importance to it, fortunately, Ghana has history to learn from; Cameroon in their days as the most and best performer at the world cup in their days thought same like Ghana thinks today to the extent Cameroon chose to send second string players to AFCON while they see their top players as good enough only for the world cup until the standards of football crumbled to even a struggle at AFCON. Ghana is an average performing football country in the eyes of the world but Ghanaians overate Black Stars just because Ghana got to a quarter finals of world cup. If Ghana were that good why struggle against the likes DR CONGO, ZAMBIA, MALI, BURKINA FASO and even had to solicit referee's attention for a penalty to edge the likes of CAPE VERDE.
