Defense should be formidable, hence my advice that John Mensah and John Paintsil are to be considered. Personally, I feel Fatau Dauda is not Ideal as our number one goal keeper for the tournament. Coach Appiah MUST be allowed to do his job.

You kidding me? We need both Vorsah and Boye, but certainly not John Mensah. Until recently Mensah is perhaps the best defender we've had in the last 8 or more years. But considering that we are limited to only 23 players, we can't afford to waste slots on player who cannot go the distance. If John Mensah can't play 90 minutes what we end up with is 22 and half players. Is that what you want? In my opinion Boye and Vorsah combination in central defence has served the Black Stars very well.

your spot on brother,our defense and goel keeper is week.In 2010,our central defence pair Mensah, vorsah and olele kingson well excellent,they kept us in the game against Germany and usa.We did not score many goels in 2010,when we did it was single goel or a penalty.Ghana went far in the tournerment by defence.Our keeper Olele was very good in both 2010 and 2006.Fatau Dauda is error prone on crosses and high balls,he does not project confidence at all.Duada has not played a single game for his south Africa team Orlando pirate,and his number one keeper for Ghana going against Germany and Portugal who play high air balls.
