MAINTAIN THE RED/MAROON COLOR, BUT WITH OLD GOLD PINSTRIPES AND WHITE SHORTS. THE AWAY JERSEY MUST HAVE A COLLAR.

Finally, Red is an intimidating color. It give you a physiological edge. How much of that actually shows on the pitch is very debatable, but its an edge none the less.

However, if for example gh is invited to s. africa to play in an independence celeb game etc. Then the gfa/sports ministry can design jerseys with a blackstar on the chest area etc....

Commercialization and Globalization has ruined the beauty of soccer. We are all slaves of the machinations of FIFA and their business associates. What a pity. In the olden days every country makes their own jerseys using the emblems and colours of their country. This brings national pride. Why do we resist the hiring of foreign coaches and yet remain silent when foreign people impose jerseys on the famous Black Stars.

There are several issues at stake here. One is sabotage. Remember we are playing matches under a troika of impediments such as heavy humidity, high temperature, and possibly heavy torrential rains. We must design and test our own jerseys to ensure that they can perform under battlefield conditions. Were are the Ghanaian designers. Where are the scientists. Where is the spirit of the Black Star. Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah , Initiator of the African Personality will turn over furiously in his grave. Whither art the Black Star?
