That is unbecoming of a coach.

Traditionally, any time a team fails in their bid to win laurels, it is the coach that is changed and not the players.
In that, it is the coach who detects the wrongs and rights the right.
A coach criticize players during camping/training sessions.
A good coach does not wash his dirty linens in public, not even on the field of play any match day.

Konadu, to me, appears like he is not interested in the job he is doing and must resigned or be asked to step down.

I personally do not take solitude in the local players. I feel it is only an 'mmatahoo' to the real deal.
Besides, the government is finding it difficult managing the league and all the categories of the national teams.
The monies, the energies and the time
wasted on these kind of tournaments should have been used on the disparaged and the estranged league.

I wonder why she has to participate in
a tournament that has little or no impact on our sports economy, let alone our hard earned glory.

maxwell konadu is talking as if he has not been with the team.
the problem is that we don't really have good coaches who can impart team work and polish basic skills like ball control and ball passing.
the gfa and oti akenteng another poor coach are also getting it wrong appointing coaches for our national teams. maxwell konadu was not a reputable ex blackstars player. i don't think he has experienced an international tournament at the senior national team level. if you are an ex footballer turned coach you must be a top notch footballer to be successful. morinho, & co who were not top notch footballers made their mind coaching is their profession so they psyched and well groomed for it. i don't understand why oti akenteng led gfa technical directorate and kwesi nyantakyi continue to make reckless coaching appointments. for instance when dauda luthrodt assistant to maxwell was a player coach at powerlines, maxwell konadu was learning the rudiments of colts football. apart fromm that maxwell dauda, silas, nasamu, saban quaye etc did not get call ups into the blackstars during their hey days, yet reputable ex blackstars players like kuku dadzie, isaac paha,joe addo, simon addo, ablade kumah, who are even better educated are being overlooked.
why will educated and blackstars legends such as malik jabir, ibrahim sunday, isaac paha, kuku dadzie, be overlooked and oti akenteng kept at the gfa technical directorate and he with kwesi nyantakyi be doing whatever they like when it comes to appointment of coaches. Konadu was moved from nyantakyi's club, and routed through kotoko before getting to the blackstars bench. with these hordes of ex footballers turned coaches how extra ordinary is maxwell konadu to be on the bench of the meteors, local blackstars and blackstars?
