Maxwell is certainly a good coach. I think he can claim to be a tactical genius if he wins the cup. If not you will see the insults and criticism by certain elements. He has done well so far with the players at his disposal. ...

Maxwell is certainly a good coach. I think he can claim to be a tactical genius if he wins the cup. If not you will see the insults and criticism by certain elements. He has done well so far with the players at his disposal. He has managed to organise them into a mean fighting machine with defensive duties the priority. His team appears to be improving with every match. But he needs to improve the teams cohesion; passing; ball possession and finishing abilities. If the team is going to keep to its defensive strategy it must develop fast counter-attacking moves when gets hold of the ball. Besides, he must teach the attackers how to stay onside. They are too guilty of offsides and many a time squandering good opportunities in the process. Once again wish him and his players tons of Mother Luck and Divine Guidance to deal with anything thrown at them by any opponent.

the writer mentioned 2010 WC. i will refer to 2006 WC. after the italians scored their second goal against blackstars and almost everbody was blaming kuffour, i thought the blame should have been laid largely at the door step of muntari. lo & behold after the match, konadu then a panelist decended heavily on muntari and i was soo impressed.
however, iwill like to suggest to him that just as he was courageous to rightly benched sule mohammed and now using the more industrious bancey he should in the same maaner benchthe largely ineefective mpouh and allow asiedu attobrah to run 90 minutes. it was only when asiedu came on the pitch that i saw jordan more relaxed, more composed and the defenders now finding the appropriate way of initiating attacks which of course resulted in a penalty. we don't have adequate players who can control and pass the ball effectively and efficiently so it is unwise to keep asiedu attobrah on the bench.

This Konadu of a coach ought to be helped by the GFA to continue improving. He is a talent of a coach and we must invest in him for our own good in lieu importing those 2nd and 3rd class coaches who attract so much salaries.

He should not be swollen headed. He should show the forward liners how to aim at the goal post with try shots. Also, Should work on the mid-field and defence.

This is the exact reason why we never achieve anything. For this same reason, we will always be here and there but not champions.

Anytime to get to the semis of any competition we start blowing our horns and become content and then...we get booted out of course.

Was there the need to put this up at this moment? Could it have waited till the end of the tournament??? And sadly enough, we do the same thing to the players.

Let's grow from this irresponsility.
