  FIFA will never approve this,its only in Africa that we think we are one "country",the Europeans don't.USA & Mexico are having their own problems,where will Russia & Israel be.To be frank it won't get good coverage.

  Sounds like a good idea if the world were united. Our own imperfections will create biasness to favor certain players and that's when some will start getting offended. Other than that... great!

Could you imagine if this idea was implemented years back, guys like Abedi Pele and Yeboah would have showcased Ghanaian soccer and not only in the countries which they plied their trade as we saw.

  It can be a round robin tournament where the highest team with the hightest points wins the cup after all teams have played every other team. Each continent (Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Australia and Antarctica)will play six(6) games, therefore based on the rules of combinations 6*7/2=21. A total of 21 matches will be played.

  You wait till the thing is approved, the first championship is scheduled, member confederations are informed, they are all in agreement, the location and schedules are approved, THEN you announce and come back with the bragging AFTER Fifa acknowledges the man and Ghana FIRST.

  This is a brilliant idea, and FIFA should be able to accommodate the championship. It makes great sense, and for once the selection of continental eleven after national championships, e.g., Africa XI after every cup of nations tournament will become meaningful. Part of the proceeds from such a tournament could be used to fight poverty, especially on the poorest continent. Let's enjoy the beautiful game at whatever level; it brings more excitement; promotes unity and world peace. FIFA should not kill the idea but seriously explore the modalities.

  Football compared to basketball is a Global sport but still falls short when it comes to being an inclusive brand. This idea proposed segregates the stars in the different zones which I think is bad for business. The leagues in Africa are still semi-competitive compared to the leagues in other continents. I think we should be focusing on how to improve the leagues in developing countries rather than pivoting the few prominent players we have versus the elites from other continents. Just my opinion.
