  Essien played realy well,almost scoring with a header,Milan were far the better side and had most possession and goel attempt.

  Essien of course is not the Essien of old, there is doubt about that because of aging. I will expect Essien to constantly run into empty spaces to receive balls especially when he releases them.On one occasion he unexpectedly surged forward with a lightening speed, he was nearly rewarded with a goal. Though I don't know the role he was asked to play, I saw on many times he had enough empty space to run and help surge the team forward. Essien also must do some tackling at times than always retreating to cover. It gives the opponents the relief to easily release the ball to his partner. All the same, it was a good start for a new team in such a high profile match. Keep it up!

TWEAA, THE ATHLETICO GUY WAS WIDE OPEN TO HEAD WITH FULL VIM. IF U OPEN UR NYASH NA SO. WHO NO GO ENTER FREE?......ESSIEN PLAYED WELL...I WILL GIVE HIM A 6.5/7 OUT OF 10

  Graded 6.9 second best in the Milan side is very good. As he gradually get the support of the fans he will do far better.
