I think this guy should be included in the world cup squad.... What more prove do we need about this guy....... a player who takes chances is the one we need... I hope favouritism doesn't destroy the selection of our squad.

Yes,Warris current performance at club side and his display for the BS whenever included makes him a sure bet for the World Cup.Gyan also commended him and mentioned he enjoys playing with him as a striking partner.

The question is why start him from the bench instead of Kevin Boating?Gyan is our permanent striker who deliver consistently in terms of goals whereas Boating just came back after our qualification was in the bag and has this far provided very limited performance.I think Waris,Dede Gyan and Atsu should be" paired" at all times with KPB and Essien relieving any one of them who is not burning hot, tired or injured.

Since 2005 when Gyan became part of the senior national team on permanent basis, this guy has delivered and he's still doing good. Don't ever compare him to a player who's just coming up. Before Waris came in Gyan had been there for almost 9 years. Waris is good but don't start that comparison because we'll need them both to get our job done in Brazil.

I was just about to ask him that! Iniesta, Xavi, Maradona,... are all short. In fact Waris is very good in the air, and he is fast and skilful as hell. No shortcomings on his part.
