Don't worry about age. Brazil 2014 is not an age competition. The coach only has to assess his abilities as against other materials available. When he is selected, it will surely be on merit.

Samuel Eto is 32; Didier Drogba 33; Michael Essien 31 going 32; Frank Lampard 32; to name but just a few of the over 30s who will be featuring in Brazil. Anyway the buck stops with Akwasi Appiah and his technical team. The rest of us are just making noise. For me I wish the Rock of Gibralta all the best and pray that the Almighty protect him from injury whilst helping him to succeed with his new club.

Most of them will be coming from the bench or may not the complete the 90 minutes. Why do you think Morinhou is complaining about Eto's performance these days?. Also, playing in the defense is not the same as an attacker. As a defender, the slightest mistake you make then you are in trouble. Please I hope you read why Joe Addo(a former black stars defender)retired from active soccer. He couldn't stand the speed of young Freddy Adu of US.

If anything an attacker has to do more running around looking to evade markers and get into good scoring positions or running to different positions on the fields in order to confuse or entice defenders out of their positions and make space for team mates to exploit. I don't think you know what you are talking about. If anything forwards do more runnings than defenders. Rasheed I think you are still dazed and confused.

I have played active soccer and my position is no 9,so I know what I am talking about. If you like ask any coach and he will explain it you. With the defender the slightest mistake is suicidal for you. Unlike the attacker.
