By his refusal to sign the divorce papers and his willingness to do whatever it takes to strengthens his marriage, he has scored the winning goal. No reasonable lawyer in Ghana would grant such a divorce (Except ATUGUBA).

Paintsil is clearly very immature and self-centred. The woman is probably too good for him. It is interesting to note that he has not expressed any deep sorrow for is misbehavior.Wife beating is a very serious offense which should automatically attract a custodial sentence. It is clear that he does not love his wife. What he is saying is that he wants her to remain in place to care for their children so that he can pop in and out whenever he chooses and in the meantime continue to enjoy a care free life of a single man..Usually when people vow to save their marriage they try to make amends to their spouse by sincerely apologizing and promising to be loving and faithful.
