  My issue with Clottey is this:
  He tends to fight from inside most of the time. This is not always good. Smart fighters like mayweather, Hopkins mkve know and out using the jab. Fighters like Larry holmes,quartet punished opponents and snapped heads back with the jab. Clottey so far has remained truly unbeatable in boxing with the exception of the pacqiuao fight. If Clottey can discipline himself to use the jab more and set up with the jab.he will save himself from overlooking himself. against mjndine, he used more left hooks and less jabs. Kf he hadn't knocked out mundane. Clottey would have lost the fight. Just like he did vs. Baldomir, margarita, cotto. Clottey should fight cotto again and redeem himself.

I really don't know why anyone would talk abt a boxer's career ending when he has just won a major bout. Be positive man.

  Joshua Clottey did a very good job bringing himself to the lime-light. This will improve Clotteys image even though Anthony Mundine is not a big name in the USA. Mundine cant even land a promoter here and that should tell you the difference between Clottey and Mundine. Mundine has promoted himself always with brash outlandish remarks. With that being said it was nice to see Joshua taking advantage of Mundine who is coming down in weight from Middle-weight to Jr.Middle(154lbs). Remember the Banku Kanwe Man has a deadly uppercut,case and point Zab Judah and Margarito( which Joshua beat with a broken hand and was robbed), doubles up and sometimes triples his left hook,case and point Miguel Cotto(which Joshua didn't step on the gas in the 11th and 12th round,and you cant win in Madison Square Garden easily..That's Cotto's home he fills the seats) and Joshua's straight rights, case and point Carlos Baldomir(which Joshua was winning on points and disqualified without warning). Joshua Clottey is still one of the finest boxers in Ghana , still got it and showed it last night. We are Mad at him and rightly so because we knew he CAN do better in his losses. He explained the Pacquaio fight on Before the Bell(a show ,its on youtube). I believe him. If you have been around boxers and boxing you will know that.It sometimes fucks with their head (managerial problems,emotional problems,trainer issues, etc). Yes he lied about the Banku thing, but look at pacquaios face after the fight. Joshua landed 77 punches defending all the time, but pacquaio looked like he's been through a war.That tells you Clottey's Power Lets Embrace him like we did Asamoah Gyan again because Joshua will bring us a World title again, It just might not be the WBA (Mayweathers belt). Nice to see you at 154 Joshua, there's many names there and many fights to be made.Stay in shape as usual and do your THING.

  2. DISCIPLINE IN STAYING WITH THE FIGHT PLAN: CLOTTEY TENDS TO DEVIATE FROM THE FIGHT PLAN DURING FIGHTS. IF HE WANTS TO GO TO THE HALL OF FAME.HE NEEDS TO DE VERY DISCIPLINED AND STICK WITH HIS FIGHT PLAN.
  3.HE NEEDS A KNOCK OUT PUNCH: IF YOU LOOK AT ALL THE FIGHTS HE LOST. CLOTTEY SIMPLY FAILED TO IMPOSE HIS WILL ON THESE OPPONENTS WITH A KO PUNCH OR SERIES OF PUNCHES.

  Covering his face from bell to bell and seldom throwing his reputed knockout punches, Clottey lasted the distance, leaving Pacquiao with a lopsided-albeit dull-12-round unanimous decision in retaining his World Boxing Organization welterweight title before a crowd of 50,994, recorded as the biggest boxing crowd in the United States in 17 years. "He (Clottey) was satisfied with going the distance with Manny Pacquiao," said a visibly disgusted Freddie Roach, Pacquiao's American trainer. "And he did. But HBO will never use him again." "They told me that if you fight for a world title, you don't go on a survival mode. You try to win the title because it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." "Clottey will never get another title shot in his life," added Roach, a four-time Trainer of the Year. Many sports fans shared Roach's anger.
  
  They felt Clottey, who has never been knocked out in more than 50 fights, was simply afraid of suffering his first KO loss against Pacquiao. "That's why Clottey came into the fight with that kind of defensive strategy," the fans explained. "At least Clottey succeeded, escaping a similar disaster that had earlier befallen David Diaz, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto-all of whom lost by stoppage to the Filipino boxing idol." Against the heavily favored Filipino champion, the challenger from Ghana was clearly outboxed: Pacquiao threw 1,231 punches to Clottey's 399, connecting on 232 power blows to the Ghanaian's 82. "It looked like Pacquiao was simply sparring," the aficionados noted, adding "that while Pacquiao was delivering the blows in reckless abandon, Clottey-who was expected to be the more aggressive being the challenger-was merely receiving them." "For sure, it was not Pacquiao's best fight," said another boxing diehard from my hometown in Marilao, Bulacan. But despite all these critical comments, Pacquiao, who is due to arrive on Monday from the US, would be getting a guaranteed purse of $12 million apart from the pay-per-view income and gate receipts. Clottey was assured of $1.5 million-his biggest paycheck ever as a boxer"

  Wat is the use of fighting and not clocking the millionaire money. If Clottey has to fake it, then so be it. Pacman made a name for himself by ducking black fighters.
