  Your article is a bit misleading as Asamoah still plays at the left back berth if I am right. Lets hope you are right and I am wrong as I really want Asamoah to play a more advanced role to enable him use his undoubted arsenal of talent to cause havoc in the opposition's last third. I did not watch our last game against S. Korea and cannot say where he was played. I however remember him playing as a left wing back a few times for the BS. That is a mistake and I hope he plays where his talent will give him the chance to positively impact the games

  Asamoah is a chess player who is at his best when he is sitting deep and looking for openings to attack or set up the forwards. Our best counter attacks begin with him. His worst games for Ghana have come when he is made to play a traditional attacking midfielder role. In that role, he often looks indecisive as his lateral vision is poor. Lets hope he is allowed to play from deep to he can find opening lanes up and down the field.
