How can Kingson, Dauda (or Kwarasey) do what the best goalkeepers in the world have not been able to do? Ghana will need to put up a spirited team effort if we are to have any success against our opponents in Brazil.

Every team need experience and old players who can play and we have Essien, Muntari, Asamoah Gyan for old players quota. These three can still play competitive football.We only have 23 spots available and we need players who are active.

You are right again the argument for Dauda inclusion is he had kept the post during the qualifying so it would not be wise to leave him behind most Ghanaians are short sighted and myopia in thinking Larry Kingston played in almost all the 2010 qualifying which cost him dearly his place in Heart of Midlothian Football Club when he was left behind most people who are advocating for Fatau Dauda said Kingston has a temper.

My only bone I have to pick with Lepowura MND Jawula is he started the Technical Director nonsense he does not believe Akwesi Appiah have what it take to take lead us in Brazil so people read his comment with pinch of salt.

Olele is too old now. Be realistic.
All his peers have retired or not in active soccer anymore.
Pele, Anthony Yeboah, Abedi, Polo, Opoku Afriyie were all good players when they retired. Abedi was better than most of our players we featured in the afican cup matches the year following Abedi's retirement, but we never brought him back or thought about doing so.
Abedi wasn't even that old when he retired.
Olele has done enough for the country and enough is enough. He should just hang up his boots.

I cannot kick the ball straight but I know when a goalkeeper has been out of action as Dauda has, he would be low on confidence and Ronaldo knows how to kick the ball straight so it would be no laughing matter. Any free kick I guarantee would be a goal and they would exploit that. With an unsympathetic referee like the world u17’s we would be snookered. Now you know Jawala has caught a ball before.

If you know football you would know that such a goalkeeper would be low on confidence and anticipation would be 0. Also if he is not good for Orlando Pirates then he is not good for Ghana, period. I watch South African football and it’s not at par with Norwegian football.

There is nothing like if you are good, you are good. If you don't play regularly, you get rusty and the world cup is not the place to get your form back.

You are right on one thing, opting for Kwarassey to be selected as the first choice goalie. He is currently our no 1 by a country mile. Any attempt to drum up the chances of Kingston or Dauda as our first choice goalie will end up in total disaster for Ghana. Should that happen, I will rather watch rugby on the days of our match rather than our games. K Appiah is smart enough not to chose either Kingston or Dauda as our first choice goalies. I dont have any beef with Dauda being our reserve goalie, but our first choice goalie in his current state and form? Definitely no no.

Let’s be real this is not Mahama day dreaming that the Russians would build a helicopter servicing centre in Ghana. How many Russian helicopters do we have in Africa and how many countries would be prepared to use this hob. Would it be profitable or as usual we are going to sign an agreement and dole out judgement debt money to them because there were not enough helicopters to service as we promised

Kwarasey did stop some dangerous free kick from Ronaldinho (Brazil v Ghana) friendly march, which he (Ronaldinho) thought it was a goal. 2010 world cup it wasn't only Asamoa Djan or those who miss the penalties, but if Ole le had stop the cheep free kick from Diego Forlan and able to stop also one or two penalties we should have progress. This is the reason why we prefer Kwarasey before them, with him it is not lucky or 50 50, but he read the game and do his best that's why he is the captain in his team and best keeper at where he is.
