It is always dangerous to look at yourself in the mirror like Ghana does always and create a wrongful impression you are the best football nation in Africa when in actual fact you struggle most times against minnows at your backyard. Go on Bloomberg Sports website and read the predictions and ratios of chances assigned to African countries making it pass group stages, even including the current Africsn champions Nigeria, Ghana is the country rated lowest to make cross the group stages among the five African qualified nations. There might not be any problem at all if the predictions don't favour Africa but the problem is that Ghana is the only country bragging to the roof of making it to play in the finals and that is where Ghanaians don't measure their aspirations well with ability to achivieving certain goals. This where Ghanaians have turned themselves into targets of mockery across Africa. Even Burkina Faso, Mali, DR Congo, Zambia etc Ghana lost miserably. Ghana couldn't beat Cape Verde in open playtime without soliciting for fraudulent penalty. What a shame.

Exactly. The other traditional powerhouses Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Egypt, South Africa etc got a much tougher groups. Imagine if we got Group G, D or A we will be complaining until kingdom come.
