This is one player whose invitation into the Black Stars by Akwesi appiah has always baffled me. Like Cobby indicated there are many guys (Afriyie Acquah, Anthony Annan and Accam) around presently who are playing better than Albert Adomah but the coach keeps turning a blind eye at them. Sometimes i get the impression Appiah has been inviting Adomah because of some personal relationship between them

They take it to mean that the person truly feels that he is guilty of something, and that he should not be called to represent the nation.

It's just modesty, stupid writers!
The kid is just acknowledging the honour given him; he is not really "admitting" any luck.

Every true professional will tell you that.
