I remember people requesting Kuffuor to be added to the team due to his experience and that led to his back pass which made Italy beat us 1 0. Have we not learnt from this? He may have been our national hero but he is simply not fit for this worldcup and to add insults to injuries, he is still yet to show up for preparations. Rabiu and Adomah are simply not there yet.

Don't make the mistake of going to the WC with 2 goalkeepers. If one gets injured and the other gets red carded, you will have to jump in there yourself and be the substitute goalkeeper :)

The man who also coached Scotland and Nigeria already has some thoughts about Ghana, the Americans' first World Cup challenge June 16 in Brazil.
"The striker and the midfielders are very, very good," Vogts said Sunday before Azerbaijan trained at Candlestick. "They're quick, they are physical."
Vogts added that the United States' best chance might be attacking from the wings, because Ghana's defense is compact. He also said Ghana plays similarly to Nigeria.
The Americans are scheduled to face Nigeria in an exhibition June 7 in Jacksonville, Florida, before departing for Brazil.
"Ghana is one of the best teams in Africa," Vogts added. "And all the players, they play around the world, good players. The most important thing is to win the first match.
"But first, the USA, they have to play against Azerbaijan."
•Vogts sounded like a fan of outside midfielder Julian Green, a German teenager with an American father. Green, 18, has appeared only once for the United States in a game last month against Mexico. He plays for a fourth division team part of Bayern Munich's system.
"I saw him in the training," Vogts said. "He is a very, very talented player. He's very quick, and speedy, that's what you need. Maybe he can come in the last 20 minutes, the last 10 minutes."
•Klinsmann was part of three World Cup teams coached by Vogts, who was an assistant when Germany won in 1990. Vogts recalled telling the teenage Klinsmann to switch to the middle from the wing position.
"He did it, and he started a big, big career," Vogts said. "He is so enthusiastic. He's more American than a German. The Germans are always thinking about things, but Jurgen is so positive, that's the American way of life. That's good for the team, good for the supporters, good for all of them here."
•Sporting Kansas City teammates Matt Besler and Graham Zusi didn't show too much emotion after learning they were headed to Brazil last week.
"We didn't have a bromance hug," Besler said before practice Sunday at Stanford. "I'm sorry to disappoint you."
•Despite a push to get more U.S. Latinos involved with the national team, attacking midfielder Alejandro Bedoya and defender Omar Gonzalez are the only Hispanics to make Klinsmann's team.
Bedoya, whose parents are Colombian immigrants from Miami, appreciates the distinction.
"I feel like I am the only Latin American," said Bedoya, who plays at Nantes in the top French division. "No offense to Omar, but I speak way better Spanish than he does."

He was sometimes used as a right winger but even his crosses from the right wing isn't good. With his absence, we have Opare as the regular and Essien as the standby. Right wing, we have Andrea Ayew as the regular and Atsu as the standby. I'm not saying he is not good. What I'm saying is we have enough for that position.
At the midfield department, Adomah will give the team a break and rest for us. No hard feelings in this one. Among the right wingers he may be competing against, he is the one with poor crosses. That position is where good crosses are needed and he lacks that.
Up-front, Jordan Ayew, I think is the one to come out. I'm sorry to sat this but among the strikers called, he is the one with inaccurate shootings. You can't tell me, Kevin or Gyan or Warris will be given a return ticket home whilst Jordan will be hanging in there. So what is the headache in this?

Don't make the mistake of going to the WC with 2 goalkeepers. If one gets injured and the other gets red carded, you will have to jump in there yourself and be the substitute goalkeeper :)
Those wanting only 2 keepers to go to the WC may not know much about soccer. Even the 3 keepers are too few, but it is ok. We can take our chances on that -- i.e. none gets injured.

My experience as an ex-footballer tells me it would be wise to drop Adomah,Dauda and Jordan. The decision is prone to enhance success of the national team in Brazil.
We need at least 3 goal keepers in Brazil. We cannot afford to drop Duada.
If we want to keep Dauda then we have to make sure that we keep some very heavy metal in his boots so that he can stand still for once!
I like keepers who go out a lot. When you stay back a lot, it makes strikers rifle a shot at your goal. I lie bad?
