Like you said, a trial match is to examine a few players whose inclusion need justification. The dutch were playing at almost full strength.
Our team was mixed at 60%. Did they see the pressure on the Dutch when Ayew, KPB and Afful were on?
We lost by 1 which is a good thing. We lost to them 4-1 lat time and almost made the Semi Final in Brazil.
A lot of the people here make emotional arguments.

I believe we can take a lot of positives from this game- at least the technical heads have seen the show of the players at their disposal.
Let us stop comparing the 4-1 scoreline suffered at the hands of the Dutch during the 2010 world cup preparations to the 1-0 scoreline suffered yesterday.Events before and during the 2010 world cup will be different from the events before and during the 2014 world cup.
Much as some of us were not impressed with our game, the technical team would have identified some of our weaknesses by now. We have some time to fix it. The players are not as bad as some people are portraying them to be. If we had won this game, people would have been swollen headed and become complacent and that would not serve us well in the real tournament.
After beating Egypt in the last round of qualifiers, most people became more or less over-confident in our team, forgetting that the same team lost some games notably against Zambia and Egypt among others. We also lost our last friendly by same 1:0 scoreline but most people kept bragging instead of preparing. Lots of countries started their preparation much earlier than we have started. Holland played a friendly a couple of days ago, and hence know their starting eleven- they actually used the game against us to fine-tune their tactics while we were still trying all our players to see who will be dropped.
Success comes to the best and a key determinant of being the best is serious preparations-, not talking.

The Black Stars was slipping all over the place. Schlupp lost his footing as last defender causing the goal. The whole team must have been wearing ski shoes. The defence was slow, nervous - they failed to chase down the ball. Culprits: No. 14/15.

Netherlands dominated the 1st half and early part of the 2nd half. With Waris, Boateng, Jonathan Mensah (for injured Jerry Akaminko - who might be out of the W. Cup) brought in, the Stars picked up speed and efficiency to pile on some pressure.

Poor performance by the Stars. 60% ready for the WC.

They played 90 minutes without a shot on target. Had it not been the capable presence of Kwarasay the number of goals against the Black Fodders would be a basketful. Ghana’s reputation as a footballing nation would surely and no doubt have been in the mud.

In the first half the mid-fielders were very slow. They were disposed at will and Michael Essien was one of the principal culprits.

Majority of his passes were wayward.
There was no striker in the team for the whole of the first half and no shots were on target at all.

The defence was nervous. I saw only a one-man-defence, and that was the goal keeper.

Is it too late to withdraw from the World Cup? Disgrace does not befit the name GHANA!!!! Pull out Now!!!

watcing a vedio clip from the game i can tells u fans of ghana, our middle was totally broke down pressure on defence. defence didnt live up ready for a world cup games, change has to be made on rightfull back centre position also middle was totally break down cos the defence werent too stops gave away a very lack of communitaction between 4 position and 2 position, 7 should fall back to help watching the game there is has to be intense hello on our defense, there was too many breaks away by the pink guys they good. another thing is runing we couldnt catch up with the intense runing of the pink guys there good in runing, players should stop eating fufu on game day to avoid too much weight. we wants to win but not been to run. we werent ready but with much pratice we can do better. no creative goals for ghana, its no good. nobody was going to do that cos the defence of the pink guys were solid due to pressure taking off em by the forwards who could run with the bal.
