Middle of the article: Jerry Akaminko is out of the squad. How can he therefore be in the running for the centre back position?
Is Vorsah even in the 23 man squad? How can he be fighting for position when he hasnt received a call up?
Talking about Rabiu, a player at the age of 24, already played for 6 clubs does not seem to me to be something we should be singing praises about. That many clubs in such a short time suggests he might become more of a Journeyman than a star.
Anyway, I agree with most of the article, but the writer is trying too hard to "think outside the box" that he has appeared "silly" in the final result. Its an OK piece, not an "absolutely brilliant" piece. I'm sure you agree after reading my analysis, or?

That is the biggest hyperbole of the century. Self-deception is our hallmark. Appiah rides on luck. Appiah has no sense for strategy, no sense for tactics, no sense for systems and zero sense for intelligence just like Mahama the President, my own father, and all ghanaians.
Luck without intelligence can only take you as far as the wind blows. Germans apply intelligence and reap the benefits of efficiency and security.
Where has luck without intelligence taken Ghana in spite of its natural wealth? That is what Appiah offers.
Ghana is just a tit bit better than Nigeria, because Nigeria has a higher corruption and a higher low intelligence.
Germans will always beat Ghana with Intelligence on the field. Application of intelligence is what Appiah lacks. Appiah is Ghana.
