This coach should count himself blessed and fortunate to have offered this position. He appears to be humble, but he is not. He never learns from his mistakes just as our politicians do. Coach Appiah committed this tactical error during the 2013 African Cup of Nations match against Congo. He used Asamoah at the left full back position. Ghana conceded a goal from Asamoah position. The Nation (Ghana was humiliated at the 2013 AFCON games. He told the nation after tournament that he has learnt from his mistakes. Here we are he had done the same thing again. Please tell me, how can any reasonable person to repeat his known mistakes?
Ghana qualified for the World Cup tournament because the players were eager to play in the world and not on coach Appiah’s tactical prowess. Coach Appiah does not have a core unit. He is always trying new players. He should have brought coach Milo to assist him since he had no any prior full time coaching experience. His assistant Konadu is clueless, and he has no business to be on bench. I have no problem for anyone being a nationalist, but coach Appiah is not seasoned to handle such a difficult task. He has ruined the players’ determination to excel in this tournament.

It's left for the manager to realise that in acompetition like the World cup, it's not an stage for trials but a stage where you are ripe enough to showcase your skills and talent and competence for the benefit of your country, Ghana. If the manager or Coach cannot realise this, then he is not ready or better still fit for the job.Every player who qualifies to represent Ghana is there on merit and must be allowed to play their role from their natural positions.We need good results not just mere attendance. Period.

Any idiot knows that defence wins tournaments. So wat business does aa have taking only 6 defenders to a wcup? 6? Wat will u do if our inexperienced defenders attract caution cards or get injured? Ebei! U load up on defenders, then strkkers(4), then mids.that's how u form a team for a tournament.
