  Why is FIFA always bending the rules in favour of European teams? This will never happen to a South American or African player. God save us.

  straght red for violent conduct is a 3 game ban according to FIFA rules, however, since Pepe is playing for Portugal (FIFA preferred team) against Ghana (African team), his straight red for violent conduct = 1 match ban only.
