Although this solution might appear very simplistic, the key to unlocking the Germans defense rest on Gyan. If he passes the ball to his mates we CAN win. If he decides to seek to become Ghana's all time scorer at the world cup we will lose, and the Black Stars will come home.
Although this is not the time to apportion blame, whoever was responsible for hotel reservations for the Black Stars failed the nation and has put Ghana into a very tight spot. Now we have to win against Germany or we come home.
After having watched Gyan play many times for this nation the only solution now is to either drop Gyan or play Waris alongside Gyan. Waris is more of a team player and has no favorites - he will pass the ball fairly and to everyone, whereas Gyan thinks he is Ghana's best striker and therefore he must always score a goal. Of course if there's an empty post I wouldn't expect Gyan to pass but I'm talking of him trying to hold the ball alone at the center line and try to score - that's very ineffective football.

If the opportunity avails, create a 4 fold men in the 18box (Gyan, Dede, Kevin, Wakaso) this will confuse the defenders....
Defenders please do not keep the ball backwards, keep it moving..no passes at Ghana back because Muller is smart for that.... that is his opportunity..
