You guys are funny. After the Korean game, you guys were worshiping Jordan when I came in to say that the guy still lacks experience and is an amateur. He scoring 3 goals against a developing Korean side was nothing to look up to. Many hit against me for these comments. Now you are the same guys accepting that he needs to grow. Where exactly do you all stand? because you can't keep swaying back and forth on individual game performances. Learn to look at the bigger picture and you will realize that Jordan is simply not there yet. I said I will play Waris over him anytime any day and that still remains a fact.

Slim!!!!!! Where have you been? I have been wondering where you are……
Well, many people hit you, but if you remember correctly, I always stated that I will give him credit for scoring that hat-trick, but I will reserve judgement until further performances.
I was also of the opinion that he is not Black Star material, but if someone has scored a hat-trick, we must praise him – that may be just the encouragement he may need to blow out into the next big thing. I do not believe in criticizing someone when they have done something good, otherwise you just demoralise them, and that is why I was particularly on your case to give credit where due.
However Slim, let me tell you, that whilst some of us may be objective, others are blinded. Some people will always hate Jordan, no matter what he does, and others will always love him, no matter what he does. I watched the Germany game with some friends …… before Jordan came on, all of them were saying Jordan is a great player and ALSO, that he played GREAT against USA. I was sitting there shaking my head, wondering how they thought he played great against USA. They said Ghanaians just needed a scape goat and that is why people complained about Jordan, but in reality he played great.
Incidentally, all the people I was with were Northners. It was plain to see that even though these people were educated (Engineer, Chartered Accountant, Psychartric nurse and a few others) and living abroad, they were blinded by tribal affinity to Jordan and could not tell that he is not actually up to scratch.
If our educated people behave like this, how can we expect to move forward as a nation? Everytime, I am sitting with these people, all they talk about is how, the best food is from the north, the black stars players are from the north, this, that and the other. One said Accra people don't know the taste of different types of meat - as if eating meat is some type of endorsement! How can Ghana move forward, when educated people act like fools as soon as they see their tribesman?
Similarly, some people will always hate Jordan, no matter what he does. I did not want you, Slim, to appear to be one of those people, that was why I said evaluate him in the light of that game. I understand your need to see some consistency before deciding finally whether a player is good or not, but words of encouragement are what is needed sometimes to give a mediocre player that push to become a bit better.
Yeah?

Sup bruh, :) I base for Florida ooo lol Jordan is the future of Ghana soccer no doubt ... if he matures like his big brother has. I acknowledge people when they do well, but making them a king based on one performance is simply wrong lol. People I was chatting with here praised him so much, some saying he should replace Gyan, he is the best player we have, etc. Those same people started crucifying after the German game lol.
Hmmm ... As for tribalism I am surprised it is still ongoing. It is sad very sad, when will we all be one?
We are all black yet we find a way to differentiate ourselves. So sad. Very sad to know that even educated people think this way, especially those living in very diverse countries. So many generations have passed yet, people still hold ancient grudges. hmm. Well .... I pray that day comes when we become much more realistic as a nation and treat each other as one.

I have always said that Jordan is in Brazil because AA is afraid of what Abedi would say if he left him out. Jordan in not a BS material. He never was. He scored three goals against Korea in a friendly. Big damn deal! Give him two more years before he will score another uneventful goal for Ghana.
Let's not waste any more time on Jordan. Not even as a sub. He would rather be running around pulling his short down to show off his underwear rather than concentrate on playing the game.

I bet you European coaches will see that and they will not touch him with a 10ft barge pole. He has done himself harm. If that was the German team, the pass would have been made, and the goal scored........that is the difference between the 2 teams....... You cant see that he should have made the pass? I am still very angry I cant forget that golden chance, when you has the ball on the left side. Asamoah Gyan is waiting calling you (give me the ball, pass the ball to me!!). But because of your selfishness and greedy you went for glory for yourself.. Chance gone!!!.
Had you pass that ball to Asamoah Gyan by now Black Stars are in comfortable mode waiting for Portugal.. Now our fate is in the hand of Germans and Americans. Which is 99.9% sure Germans are not going to put any hard effort to beat USA they are going to settle for a draw even if we beat Portugal it will not help us.
Honestly I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!! for that selfish and greedy you show to Gyan... Wallahi if Ghana didn't make it to the round of 16 I will blame you!! Jordan Ayew. You only think of yourself to be famous not the team.
That golden chance never go out from my brain it gave me stress.. Some people are saying you are still kid... But you know what is right and wrong.. You should realize your greediness selfishness and come out and apologize to all Ghanaians yourself!! not trough Gyan as I read yesterday.
Just pass the ball to Gyan... Really any time I remember that golden chance to win the game(Ghana vs German) my heart beat nearly cry... Why??. Why?? Why?. You didn't pass the ball to Gyan?. You saw him, he was free alone!!!!! You cant say you didn't saw him.. You just think of yourself first before the nation and the team. I really hate you!! for that.. YES You are right selfishness was the leading factor why he didnt pass the ball to Gyan what difference would that make if Gyan scored and Ghana goes through, In Ghana at Koforidua till today everyone have my name on their lips as the greatest striker who put so much joy in peoples hearts and was nicknamed Nsukwao pele after osei kofi, shitu muda, kofi sei, Sunday ibrahim who were my senior players of whom i respected very well even Osei kofi taught me how to play football. I played alongside the Akore brothers many times and most of the time i get into the heart of defence break them to pieces and give a pass to Akore Emmanuel owusu kankan or ofosu hene to score, i dont always have to score, so they call me soccer engineer. but today football has changed so much that instead of playing as a team people go for individual glory and that is putting us far behind.Think about kotoko against inglibert at congo kinshasa, it was team work and ream spirit that won them that prestigious prize of African champions and sadly we all lost Robert mensah. But osei kofi, Abukare, sunday ibrahim were very very united and that won them the game. When i went to gihoc paint division i played alongside Ben kayode, Apleh, TONY TIEKO AND SENEGALES, IT WAS FANTASTIC TEAM AND WE beat most of the departmental teans including GTMC, TTL, TFCC, and tussled with state fishing corporation with muhammad polo, and pe lartey all from SFC. i played with chubby checker at Ghana cargo handling now gapoa as they called it but with chubby and Boye otinkurang it was a magical moment i remember very well. I finally settled at SSNIT but occassionally played for Ghana water and sewrage corporation and we were that stylish and i remember we beat Ghana highways authority captain by the tall giant opele aboagye but the brilliance of the water and sewerage team had the upper hand with team work and we won by 2 goals to 1 which i scored the equalizer before kweku boateng scored the last goal.in 1976 77 78 was at cmb coached by asabe boakye who call me smart Boye due to my dribbling and passing strategy, with me was selas tetteh teivi who is currently the under 21 coach but we had a wonderful team spirit at the time. but beating Ghana highways authority under OPELE ABOAGYE was the greatest ever show piece of my entire football career which i would never ever forget at koforidua prisons park watched by thousands ncluding the paramount chief Nana kweku boateng daasebre 11. i left ghana at a very young age of just 21 when i rewally hit for to Great Britain and has been there till today some 30 years, and most of my teamates including opele all played for the blACK STARS EXCEPT MYSELF AND SELAS TETTEH BUT TODAY WHEN I VISIT gHANA PEOPLE STILL SHAKE MY HANDS, At koforidua where ghana football was born people reaLLY CHEER ME UP WITH GREAT ADMIRATION AND THAT IS WHAT FOOTBALL IS ALL ABOUT BUT Going for individual glory cannot only ruined the game it also frustrate some members of the team and unless this is seriously addressed Ghana Black stars will find it very difficult for a break through.

Foolish article. Who says if he had passed to Gyan he wkuld have scored? Did you see Gyan sky a shot in the 6 yard box in the first half? I wonder if you have kicked a ball in your infancy. Jordan beat 3 players running from his own half into the opponents goal area. How many Black Stars players manged to do that in the 2 matches? In all the matches played, which player shoots at target like Jordan? You are being unfair to the young man. A striker at times tries to achieve surprise when they are expected to pass. Yes is true to encourage him but the encouragement he need is a team work and one solo movement does not make him a good player and a promise lad but all is team work and consistent Jordan is some one who can do good movement and flop with in a minutes, all the criticism is better for his own betterment in future this happened to GYAN,DEDE,AKAMINKO and they did their home work and now look at GYAN, he is now GHANA highest goal scorer of all the time for GHANA and AFRICA WORLD CUP HIGHER GOAL SCORER equalled to ROGER MILLER. Personally I like Jordan he has the potential to be great, I hope he will work hard for that.

Jordan ayew is not yet done for the national team. Couch kwesi appiah please stop making mistakes of feeding him. How could you drop Atsu and replace Jordan ayew for no apparent reason. Atsu is the only play maker in the team at the moment. Because dede is scoring goals so the childish and in matured brother too wants to score. Selfish! Please we don't like him in the team for now because our blood pressure keep rising.
