The Italians resorted to insults and harassment when they were about to lose, just like they did to the Costa Ricans at half-time in the dressing room and just like what they did to Zidane some years ago but Mr No-Nonsense Suarez was already prepared for that. He was not going to use his hands to get noticed so he rather used his sharp teeth as usual. I was a professional athlete for years and even when i was winning and beating the best in the world, i got paid less. It is a natural order thing until we make changes in the world and assert of dominance for everyone to stop treating us bad as African's. Suarez on the other hand needs to be banned from the game of soccer for LIFE. He is sick and needs treatment. Why would you run and bite someone who has done nothing to you on the fifa world stage. This is a third incident and he needs to be made an example to the world of soccer. He is a great player but a terrible person. I met him twice at dinner with Steven Gerrard for dinner with some partner friends of mine and he was so arrogant and snobbish to people but cordial to our group. I felt he was acting up because he didn't speak good english and was embarrassed that we were all dialoging and he couldn't participate in the conversation. I feel he just needs help and must be punished for being such a horrible role model. My kids took pictures with him and my son was so upset at what he did, he pulled his picture off his bedroom wall. My son said, Dad, he shouldn't bite people when they are playing to see who is the best. Even a 12 year old feels it is wrong and this is a kid who was so excited to meet him.
I am Ghanaian and i was even giving him a hard time about the last World Cup. He shrugged it off like he did nothing wrong. That is his personality and so he needs to be made a scape goat for his own terrible deeds. After meetings him, i felt that he was worse than the man we see on the pitch and he just demonstrated it live to the rest of the world. I met Ronaldo on the other hand in Dubai and he was a straight gentleman. That is a role model and someone to look up to. He wasn't arrogant, just a cool cat to hang with and we talked about African football and he loved how the game was played by Michael Essien, Sulley, Kevin, and the likes. That is someone who praises talent and not despises opponent to the point that they want to bite them.
