The problem is the government interfering in GFA operations because the government wants to steal taxpayers money by involving itself in GFA affairs.

Where is the so called government money to the Blackstars supposed to be $9.6 million? This so.called money is not made available to the GFA for its operations but is being used to sponsor all those government officials in Brazil, the so called celebrities, Ambulley and other hangers on including the over 500 supporters out there.

This situation would not have come about if GFA was allowed to operate independently as it is supposed to be. The GFA could have gone to most Banks in Ghana and take $3 million loan to pay the initial $75,000 per player as initially accepted and that would have been enough to take care of the Players and technical staff and all their needs.

The Blackstars has already been given $1.5 million preparation money which is not part of the guaranteed $8 million.

The government could have budgeted just $2 million to take care of its officials it want to accompany the team to Brazil but the government village idiots who thought this is an opportunity to be tourists without paying for it through their own pockets accompanied the team to Netherlands, USA and finally in Brazil. What a waste of government resources.

With the lies coming from this government, do you believe what they are telling you? These Players have bank accounts and will not refuse deposits into their accounts. If they have refused direct deposit, maybe the government wanted to deposit cedis into their accounts more than a month ago.

With the cedi depreciating every day, their $75,000 if it had been deposited into their accounts a month ago would be worth about $70,000 today. These Players are not as stupid as the officials think.

Appearance money is from FIFA to players of each participating nation. These funds are supposed to be paid to national associations (in Ghana the GFA), and then paid out to the players. The players should have been paid in Ghana before flying out to Brazil. So first, why were the players not paid in Ghana? Second, why did the money get to the government of Ghana through the Ministry of Sports when in fact it should have gone to the GFA in the first place. Somebody somehow attempted to jettison the funds and the players possibly knew about it. They know that if they don't demand payment in Brazil, it will be difficult for them to get it in Ghana especially if they don't make it to the next stage. This is not about nationalism. The players from all nations in the competition who make several millions more than most of our players received their appearance monies long before they landed in Brazil. The government of Ghana has no business in keeping the funds until now. We now see the folly in chattering a whole private plane to send $3 million to players in far away Brazil. The government of Ghana is lucky that the Brazilian government will even permit them to bring in physical cash of $3 million into their country. Some other developed nations would have ceased the funds at the point of entry because the funds didn't go through proper channels. This cries foul and should be thoroughly investigated by FIFA.

I've lost interest in Ghana's World Cup participation because of all the camping in the wrong country, non-readiness of the hotel for the players upon arrival, fielding of the wrong players, the stupid excuse of waiting for the other team to get tired, clashes in the dressing room, denials by the GFA, confirmations by the coach, match fixing news, failure to pay appearance fees, airlifting of cash, bad logistics for our supporters in Brazil and the overall poor performance on every front.

If they really want to pay the boys, they can do money transfers to various accounts and show them the receipts.

I don't thinks the boys are in need of their payments to buy anything in Brazil but they are asking for their payment because the so called GFA people are very nasty on money.

I don't think any responsible business person or a responsible leader will even ask FIFA to for this money at this point because we are a whole nation and government & GFA can get any amount of money from any where in Ghana to pay those bills.

Young talented guys are doing their best for the nation and the stupid politicians are doing things on their own way as if they have no brain.

The Ghana FA does not need to ask for an advance from FIFA, this whole money issue is an embarrassment to Ghanaian football fans all over the world. This is an issue of discipline, the Ghana FA and the Coach must bring the players under control. There should be no discussion about money until the tournament is over. When I work for my boss, I do not tell them to pay me until the end of the month or after the job is done. The tournament is not over and the FA has not received any money from FIFA yet, so why are the players demanding money? I can assure you this whole money issue was seeds sown to disrupt the Black Stars and distract them from their main objective in Brazil and unfortunately as is usually the case it succeeded. I am sad to hear that two of Ghana's best had to be sacrificed for team harmony to be restored.

Where was the so-called team psychologist when all this agitation and unrest was brewing? Where was Stephen Appiah? He was brought on by Coach Appiah to handle exactly situations with the big stars who have big contracts in Europe. Ibrahim Sannie Daara and President Nyantakyi were trying to sweep issues under the rug during the team camp in the Netherlands.

These issues started in the Netherlands when it was reported that KPB had brought friends to the team camp. If these things had been handled at the very begining instead of trying to cover it up it would not have festerred to this sad ending.

Coach Appiah made a mistake in his first line up which caused the team to lose the USA game and unfortunately some of the team members never forgave him. When you recruit big stars like Michael Essien, Kevin Prince Boateng, Sulley Muntari, Asamoah Gyan, Kwadwo Asamoah, players commanding big money with their Clubs and reduce them to bench players there is bound to be trouble. It makes those stars look bad with their clubs and they are bound to rebel. Do not call them up unless you are ready to give them the star status that they have worked hard for and deserve.

I have no choice but to support the FA in their decision to remove the two stars from the squad, because no matter what discipline has to be maintained in the team.

When a shooting star falls from the sky another takes its place. The young and upcoming stars now have to step up and move the Ghana Black Stars forward. We are saddened by the loss of KPB and Muntari but discipline is tatamount to the success of any team effort.

Ghana will not be deterred, the remaining players should keep their eye on the prize, give their all for God and country. The country is behind you, the whole continent is behind you, you can do it. "Yes you can". The odds have become even greater but you have big hearts, you love the game and respect the game you will be fine.
