Appiah should have been thoughtful about his approach to dealing with the players. A good manager will always admonish wrong behavior behind closed doors and advice on how to proceed in the future. He should have also thought about the effect of his actions on the moral of the entire team since the players draw strength from each other. Basically, he is thoughtless, reckless, and stupid.

Remember these two players have friends among their colleagues and they may react negatively because of the decision. Meanwhile it would give confidence to Portugal to try and sneak past us. Mr Coach, couldn't you have dealt with the situation in a better way than this? Remember if you fail the players would simply go back to their teams and you would remain in country. It is you trying to prove a point and not the players. So rescind your decision; even death sentences have been squashed before. Be wise, no matter the provocation.

I do want to take sides or be judgemental but if track records is anything to go by then I will say this KPB and Muntare are very controversial players and when the two are together it can be even worse.Yes these have it all skills talent etc but that alone does not make you complete.Just as my friend white coach one told me he said there players who have all the best qualities but they are not coachable because they seem to know it also most coaches do not like them on their squad because even if for some reason you have change them in the course of for another player because you want change a strategy it becomes a problem because they always have big ego believing they are always better than every player on earth and so they are in charge and under no circumstance can the coach call him to the bench because sees the bench always as demeaning and believes everybody you see on the bench is no good forgetting that that is a wrong notion because even world bests are sometimes benched for one reason or the other but they accept it openly and put great show when ever they called upon.Good examples are Drogba and Essien these are no doubt world renowned players but they are soo disciplined that all coaches want them.Just USA team coach Klingsman said all the 23 players called to camp have all earned the the call but at any given time only 11 players can be on the pitch which is tough for every coach especially when you have all talents out there so every player has to be understanding and disciplined to allow smooth team work because without discipline you never move on.Muntare should sit back and reflect how many he has had brashes with so far and same with KPB they are both great guys but very temperamental.I love them both but hate their temperament

If Ghanaians really think that AA and the GFA cronies are interested in Ghana's advancement in the world cup then they should think twice. The moment Ghana qualified for the world tournament, those officials celebrated, not because Ghana has qualified, but for a life time opportunity to be richer. AA is only a pawn being told what to do.
Why I don't condone the attitude of some players, I also think the coach and officials have over reacted.
They may be thinking, after all big teams like Spain, Italy, England, and the likes have gone so what if "Ghana" too go. For them, what is important is to fill their pockets. This opportunity might not meet them again.
Enjoy guys, after all that's what you studied for. Typical of us Ghanaians.

Please,the management should know and understand that our decisions control our future.
KEVIN was even at loggerhead with the GERMAN COACH,and rather fighting for Ghana,but look at what they are doing to him.
