Do you even know that Government is not suppose to interfere with football administration in Ghana? The Government is even helping so the buffoonery stop. The SELF-DESTRUCTION button was pushed by the players THEMSELVES. Football is played at the highest level by instinct so the moment you allow money to enter your heart when you're going to play the game, You lose your purity and animal instinct for the game and administrative mindset takes over. The result... YOU LOSE the absolute CONDITIONING of the mind and its very difficult to regain it hence the mistakes on the instinctive field

Let me show you how the government is the one interfering in gfa affairs. In the 2010 world cup, it was the Sports Minister who led the delegation to South Africa who received the price for Blackstars and after deducting the government expenses from it declared that the government made $2 million profit.
If the government had not involved itself in gfa affairs, the agency would have had money to operate efficiently.
GFA don't need government assistance. It can access its own loans to operate. The FIFA resource all FA operations in its member countries. FIFA has given $770,000 to GFA for its operations for this year. You don't know anything.

Your illiteracy failed you to understand the point I was making. The GFA does not live on FIFA grants alone. GFA makes money also on all organized football competitions including the local leagues, the under 20, 17 , women soccer and other competitions.
The gfa could have financed its activities even before they receive the 2014 prize money if this useless government would not have taken its $14 million money from the 2010 competition. What is so hard for you illiterate mental midget not to understand?
For the pennies your paymasters give you, see how stupid you illiterate fool is couped up infront of a dirty computer at 1 A.M in Accra whilst your paymasters are enjoying their wives and girlfriends, you lonely idiot.

The President needs no committee to tell him if it was a wise decision to air-lift money to be shared in front of camera's, insecurely put in lockers and exposing lives to armed robbers & customs officials. Making the scandal public exposed all of us to ridicule, 'money-grubbing' folk. Why couldn't they let only those willing to play the matches and the rest sent home.

Nobody should take this Author seriously because he does not know what he is talking about.
First of all, any government can put in place the best of policies and programs, but if those doing the execution are bogus, there is very little the government can do.
And that is exactly what happened in Brazil. It was sheer incompetency and manifestation of acute impotence by the technical bench in the face of superior organization by the opponents.
Secondly, whoever gave the coaching job to Kwasi Appiah did the nation a monumental wrong. The guy had never even coached a local team and only understudied a foreign coach. The last time he took the Black Stars to Africa cup games, it ended in disaster. But strangely, he was tasked to face a more burdensome task of playing in the World Cup. He was bound to fail, and he did fail.
Again, the argument that Muntari and Prince Boateng were arrogant is neither here nor there. Ghana has a very bad culture of the elderly not tolerating the views of the younger generation. In Ghana when an 'opanin' talks, the young ones should shut up even when that 'opanin' may be talking nonsense. We should note that Boateng and Sulley are living their lives in freer societies where they are allowed express their views any way they want without causing any infraction or warranting any punishment. However, they cannot do that among the Black Stars; they would be branded as undisciplined meaning, they speak their mind too much.
If not so, what is so manifestly wrong about Muntari questioning the preponderance of officials at the World Cup event?
Was he not being patriotic when he told the officials that they could have saved the country money if they had stayed home?
Muntari should be hailed instead of being maligned for he hit the nail right on the head. As for this Author, the government can rain gold from heaven but he would still hate it. He is known all over Ghanaweb for his inherent hate for the current Ghanaian government.
The problem was/is not fiscal cash being sent to the players or government not doing this or that. It's sheer incompetence from the technical bench, bankruptcy of ideas, and over-confidence coupled with the problem of being led by a half educated coach with an inferiority complex to boot. We should be happy we even drew one game

Lets restrict ourselves to the issue here instead of you trying to hijack the subject here and stop your jibber jabbering.
Tell me the best policy put in here by the government. Who appointed the Sports Minister who behaved in Brazil like a fool. Are you aware when the Players went on a mutiny and the President wanted to speak to the Minister of Sports he couldn't get in touch with him and the President has to call a Journalist for him to talk to the Players? Do you know why the President want to investigate the Blackstars fiasco in Brazil?
Is sending three million dollars in cash to Brazil where any amount coming to the country in excess of $4,500 is subject to tax a good policy?
Couldn't the President have promised the Players he will personally see to them getting their appearance fees to them as soon as he can but because of logistics problems the money could not be transferred to them in cash in Brazil?
"Again, the argument that Muntari and Prince Boateng were arrogant is neither here nor there."
Are you on drugs? Where in this article was this issue raised? If you moron wants to write an article about the issues you are talking about, go ahead and do so but don't talk about nobody taking me serious when you have not even tackled the issues I raised in this piece and instead blabbering on non issues in this article like a lobotomized patient.

Sulley might have been wrong in slapping Mr Armah but wbat he said about GFA and other officials being more than the playing body and them taking advantage of the team to make money was right. I have an article exactly about what Sulley talked about.
This Armah guy is an official chaperoning the team and being older should learn how to talk to people. Talking tough about being a gangster is not civilized.

MUNTARI IS RIGHT
Not when he has seen these officials splurging in on the sweat of the team patronizing Brazilian whores whilst their appearance money has not been paid.
These fools have their per diems and bonuses paid to live large on the team whilst the Players have been denied their money.
Are you not saying the same thing today about Muntari being right the same thing I wrote about Muntari and telling readers not to pay any attention about what I wrote?
You just don't want to hold the officials appointed by the GFA and this government responsible for their childish behaviors in Brazil because you are an Ndc, is it foot soldier or fool soldier?

Nothing good ever comes from the dark continent. The corrupt and morally bankrupt African is a curse to humanity. While the report from Brazil is disgraceful and complete embarrassment to a nation, this useless government will play the usual mind numbing politics with it and continue as if all is well. In most civilized countries, the allegation of match-fixing and unpaid appearance fee to players would send shock waves in GFA and would the reason to overhaul this corrupt organization. But in primitive and backward Ghana, it won't take long and the dust will clear, and Nyantakyi and his bunch of thieves will remain in their post unscathed .
This is Ghana for you.

Next time if government wants to send a bloated nr of officials the players should not board the plane until the number has been reduced to ONLY 6 or 10. Hope the Min for Sports will learn some lessons. Call back Muntari and Kevin quickly, it wasn't their fault, you see.

So how does one blame Government which is even trying to help secretly? Ghanaians send you to Brazil to go and play football and then you go there to go and fight us over money? What is money to the people of Ghana? What do these players take Ghanaians for that they can throw the objective we set for them away and run to chase money? This is the question. Doesn't the pleyers know that Government is not suppose to interfere with football issues and that the Government out of its passion for the game is rather helping. Can the FA by themselves pay the 3million FIFA wants them to pay for them?

I knew Government is not suppose to get involved in football from the very moment GFA adopted the law. Do you even know the series of episode which led to that... It was Yaw Ampofo Ankrah who chanced upon a letter whilst working for BBC, a letter containing threats by Fifa to suspend Ghana if it doesn't adopt that particular law. This is 8years ago, you're not the first to announce so save it. When I say secretly, I mean Government is interfering in such a way not to make it seem so brazen and end up angering fifa. If for instance, GFA was prepared to pay and Government comes in to out-muscle the GFA to pay, that is blatant interference... so its good Government waits for GFA request so that its assistant could be regularize to forestall any fifa murmuring and charges

Oh Ghana, so corruption has eaten into every fabric of the Ghanaian society that officials do not care to wash their dirty pants in Brazil. If the so called officials who were sponsored with the tune of $9.6 million whereas Fifa would pay $8 million to GFA then baboon dey work monkey dey chop. But this is pure slavery in your own country and you expected them to carry the nation on their backs and play for the country. If these Black Star players are professionals and indeed they are professionals so why don`t you guys treat them as such. I now support all the players for the loss of their matches except for the German encounter they drew. I totally support Muntari and Prince Boateng because they are not slaves to the government, the so called officials and for that matter anyone who took advantage of the Black Star players. This accounts for the poor performance of the team in Brazil if these corrupt officials and the government had been humane by treating the Black Stars with some dignity. These players would have gone all the way to the finals because this was a better team than 2010. There are many Black Stars supporters who are not necessarily Ghanaians but are Canadians, Americans and other nationals who are shocked by these revelations. It is rather unfortunate for a nation who claims to have understood colonial rule and yet treats her own soccer ambassadors as slaves. Again I repeat baboon dey work monkey dey chop.

How did the NDC Government act responsibly? By airlifting cash from Ghana to pay the players in Brazil, in this day and age? Stop putting your mouth in front of your brain.
Get educated: It is understood that the GFA is due to receive payment/money from FIFA for participation in the World Cup. However, the GFA and the NDC Government know that money will received, probably, 3(three)months after the World Cup is over. This is the standard practice, and it applies to all participating countries. So, is this not the failing of GFA and the NDC Government to settle this issue with the players before the big kick-off in Brazil?
Is it FIFA's responsibility to resolve the row over the bonus payments between the players and GFA/Government? Is it FIFA's responsibility to motivate and incentivise the Ghana players to show up at the tournament and to perform better?

Isaiah 59
Sin, Confession and Redemption
1 Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. 2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. 3 For your hands are stained with blood, your fingers with guilt. Your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue mutters wicked things. 4 No one calls for justice; no one pleads his case with integrity. They rely on empty arguments and speak lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil. 5 They hatch the eggs of vipers and spin a spider's web. Whoever eats their eggs will die, and when one is broken, an adder is hatched. 6 Their cobwebs are useless for clothing; they cannot cover themselves with what they make. Their deeds are evil deeds, and acts of violence are in their hands. 7 Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are evil thoughts; ruin and destruction mark their ways. 8 The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks in them will know peace. 9 So justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows. 10 Like the blind we grope along the wall, feeling our way like men without eyes. At midday we stumble as if it were twilight; among the strong, we are like the dead. 11 We all growl like bears; we moan mournfully like doves. We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away. 12 For our offenses are many in your sight, and our sins testify against us. Our offenses are ever with us, and we acknowledge our iniquities: 13 rebellion and treachery against the LORD, turning our backs on our God, fomenting oppression and revolt, uttering lies our hearts have conceived. 14 So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter. 15 Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice. 16 He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so his own arm worked salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him. 17 He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak. 18 According to what they have done, so will he repay wrath to his enemies and retribution to his foes; he will repay the islands their due. 19 From the west, men will fear the name of the LORD, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory. For he will come like a pent-up flood that the breath of the LORD drives along. 20 "The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins," declares the LORD. 21 "As for me, this is my covenant with them," says the LORD. "My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever," says the LORD.
