We are yet to hear from his side,on what the coach has refuted.

Do you think Muntari can break a bottle and slap an official in his team in Europe? Boateng cannot challenge his coach in Europe because if he does he will bench him and may not want him to play for the team in the following season. I have my beef with Boateng because he is not readily prepared to play for Ghana at the elimination series. The Abedi boys are always prepared to play for Ghana at any time. If I were the coach, I would not have even invited him to camp.
It is annoying also the number of government representatives that were sent. The government should be blamed for that because the Prez definitely was aware of officials that attended the games at a time that schools don't have chalk. Some of Mahama's appointees are not cut for their jobs.

Kevin Prince Boateng has called the entire Black Stars World Cup campaign in Brazil "amateurish" in his first full interview since being sent home from the tournament.

In a no holds barred interview with German news outlet Bild,Boateng revealed the circumstances that led to the deterioration of order in the Black Stars camp and also denied ever being rude to Kwasi Appiah.

"I am very, very disappointed. It just wasn’t a good time.

The nightmare lasted from the first day of the preparations until the very end.

I would never have thought that the preparations and the World Cup itself could be so badly organized. The hotels, the flights – everything was amateurish.

We flew from our first training camp in Amsterdam to Miami. But we flew in two groups, because apparently there wasn’t enough space for all of us. One group went via Atlanta, the other one via New York. We sat at the airport for nine hours and the whole trip was 19 hours. And…

The flight from Miami to Brazil a week later was 12 hours. We flew economy class, all cramped. The legs hurt. It may sound weird for normal people, but for professional sportsmen it’s an impertinence.

Our president [GFA president], his wife and his two kids sat in business class on the same flight. In Brazil we finally got a chartered flight. But then the officials managed to lose my luggage somehow. I didn’t have my football boots for some days, no tapes, nothing. It was disastrous.

The only hotel were we could really prepare in was the one in Miami. We moved in there after we complained because the players didn’t want to stay at the other one.

Boateng also told Bild the team's accommodation before the 2-1 loss to USA was less than satisfactory.

"Before the first WC game against USA we slept at a hotel, I call it a fleabag, which was definitely not recommended by FIFA. There was a severe water damage, the rooms were wet. I had to change rooms, my room had turned into a private swimming-pool because of the water dripping from the ceiling. "

The Schalke star also laid into coach Kwesi Appiah,revealing he had been led to believe he would have a starring role with the team and was surprised to sit out Ghana's opening game.

"Very surprised. It was him who kept talking about me as the leader and who had declared his confidence in me. I have never had a problem with him and I have always behaved positively. But if somebody asked me whether he is a good coach… No.

No. But I respect him as a person, like I respect everyone. I have always accepted and respected all decision that he made. I’m just wondering why he begged me to play for Ghana when I was still at AC Milan. Then I make a comeback and suddenly I’m not playing anymore. The president was at one of these talks as well. He gave me his word that we were going to have better travel, better organization and better preparation. He didn’t keep the promise. In the end I was just dissatisfied.

On the issue of bonuses which sparked an international media frenzy,Boateng said it was the least of the team's problems during the World Cup.

"No. That has become part of it and it’s nearly normal. That was the smallest problem. But everything kept stacking up over the whole month. It was catastrophic. The practice conditions, sleeping conditions, everything. I just wonder where all the money goes.

The GFA makes so much money from sponsors, through FIFA. And it’s certainly not spent on hotels, flights, the squad and the preparations. "

Boateng also spoke of the poor team spirit that existed among the playing" bodies and accused some of his team mates of being hypocrites.

"No. It wasn’t a real team. Everyone was occupied with himself, everyone was talking bad about each other. There were two or three players who were happy about Sulley Muntari’s and my suspension. And those players exactly had told me that I was right about everything. Everyone knows that I have never insulted the coach. But they spoke against Sulley and me in front of him.

But still, the GFA released a statement saying that you have insulted the coach. People started saying that Boateng couldn’t control himself once again.

I don’t care about that at all. I’m very relaxed because I know for a fact that I have not done anything like that. "

No human being is perfect. But again: No. I have just stated my opinion. There was no player who was happy. We had a perceived 100 meetings with the delegation. We told them that there are countless things that need to be changed. That’s why I’m an easy prey. "

Boateng also said he was an easy scape goat to have because he always spoke his mind on issues and this did not go down well with officials whilst also explaining his side of the story in the incident that led to him being kicked out.

"Because I said to their faces that they are liars who permanently make promises that they never keep. We were lied to constantly.

Like I have said before: Sulley and I were joking around at practice. The coach stopped, we said everything was OK. Suddenly I had to go to the locker room. The incident happened four days before my suspension.

If I had insulted the coach back then, why was I suspended much later on Thursday?

"On Wednesday there was another meeting with the delegation. That’s when I told the officials that they were lying to us, that they were making hollow promises. Four days after the incident at practice and a day after the meeting I found a white piece of paper under my door, saying I was suspended. I think everyone knows the reason. The president just turned the tables.

There’s no need to. They have basically thrown me out. I love the country and the people. But under circumstances like this it’s hard for any sportsman to carry on. I will go on holidays right now and I’ll return to Schalke with full force in mid-July. I’ll take it from there."

Ghana needs competent liaison officers, public relations managers, and managers of logistics as well as psychologists to do all the behind the scenes activities that can position a team to focus only on football. Players at the world cup should have no business interfacing with government officials over political matters. Our issue is not just about Ghana's below par performance at FIFA 2014. Sometimes. we waste so much time insulting people and blaming people. It is time to pause, take careful stock of all what contributed to Ghana's poor showing, work out strategies to close the gaps, and design a clearer and better system for success going forward. Our coaches must learn how to manage and motivate players, deal with the press and government officials etc. Ghana will be back. The Stars will glitter again.

Mr. Nyorko, you've made a good point but at twentieth century any coach who doesn't know how to tackled and handle all the factors that you've stated can be term as a weak, timid, bias, yes sir and a coward coach. It is very hard to get rid of the corrupt GFA & governmental officials from intruding the national team affairs, but it takes a good and brave coach to stamp them all out because at the end, it is ONLY THE COACH HEAD WILL BE ON THE LINE. Now we all wanted the Nyantakyi and the entire GFA to be dissolved but it won't happen, but we can get rid of the coach for our faIlure.

We need a strong coach who can handle the team well.

We all knew who Sulley was before like wise KPB, so what exactly do we expected again from them. Sulley Muntari was/is a valuable assert for our mother land Ghana REGARDLESS and I really don't CARE even if he gives some slaps to coach Appiah and GFA Boss. As for KPB, if your are gambler, you should know when to play and when to quit period.

Despite being on the group of death, we could have qualify easily had the right thing has been done. Ghana vs Portugal was a shamble game because soo many things has gone wrong and the unity and the spirits that drives the team was already dead.

Now who was to take the heat of that, we can't sit down and let some people derail or twisted our mind from the actual agony that all the Ghanaians are facing now and that was OUR EARLY EXIT FROM THE GROUP STAGES?

Kevin is being accused of vulgar verbal abuse of the coach. Living in this part of the world, I would tell you, even Sir Alex Ferguson has used the "f" word under certain conditions. So to some extent the use of the "f" under certain circumstances is sanctioned. If the coach of the black stars decides to send someone parking bcos of the use of the "f" word, that is unfortunate but unacceptable bcos for me it is 'a storm in a teacup' and that led to divisions in the camp. There were those who would have backed Kevin and those who would back Sulley. Bottom line, the "eruption" in camp was not managed well and that is why we need to know what the exact so called "verbal vulgar abuse words were". If you put square pegs in round holes, that is what you get. These guys have no clues when it comes to man-management it does not matter what kind of "professional" qualifications in other fields they may have. Football is a multibillion business and everybody is veering into that area even though they have the least of ideas about managing footballers

I personally think that him getting rid of Muntari and KPB is the best thing he could have done for the future of the Black Stars. In the future, players will understand that if they misbehave they are gone!! One thing we all know with the African teams is that discipline is more important than talent. I would rather see us have a disciplined group that is ready to fight for the country and the coach. I like KPB and Essien but there is no room for such behavior. If the players really want the best for Ghana, the could easily organize a post tournament press conference and point out the problems with the GFA and coach in a forum where we could make an objective assessment of what goes on behind the scenes. I am sure the players have some valid points but as millionaires they did not handle it well. The handled it like this was the first time they were making money.

Appiah is the one who should be leaving the GFA not Prince. It is great to ask for clarification when one is unsure of facts. However this approach is never done in Ghana with someone like Nyaho talking as if he is having a serious diarrhoea. Why is challenging not acceptable in our culture thus leaving people to make the wrong decision our defeat. Could Appiah has waited before taking any actions on Prince.
