Some of you Ghanaians are very much stupid when it comes to issues like this. If a player should play for his or her Ghana and he or she gets hurt, what can the government do for him or her? Nothing. Essien got injured at one point when he was an official duty for the nation but the country couldn`t do anything for him. It was rather the team he was playing at that time took care of him till he recovered. Senseless human beings.

stories, others twisted and hyped interviews they had obtained from certain key players In typical Ghanaian fashion, many of these chaps who can darely write readable english went about to forment confusion,so they could 'generate' stories for their myriad home stations! In the lead up to this tournament,some became 'mercenaries' for certain individual players, purposefully building them up as the shinning lights on the team. This obvious PR gimmick,may have have influenced Coach Kwasi Appiah and his technical team,and thus affected their thought processes,which negatively impacted on genuine esprit de corp. So all the 'hotair' we heard about high morale at camp was a farce as recent revelations have shown. With all these charlatans lurking around, how could our squad advance in the tournament?
