Appiah will not listen to advise because he kept on experimenting. Appiah is not fit to handle the Big Boys and therefore he adopted the divide and rule tactics. The GFA can say whatever they like. It doesn't surprise me that the GFA has decided to renew the coach's contract after failing to take the team to the knockout rounds. This sets the bar of expectations too low. The coach should do the honorable thing and resign. He should know that by now that Prince Boateng is no longer interested in playing for the national team. This situation about just playing disciplined players is getting old. What he is actually looking for are players who don't speak their minds and can be controlled. Boateng is not that type of a person. He was born in Germany, where youngster are taught at an earlier age to have a mind of their own and voice their opinions. You are not going to find that trait in Ghanaian-born players, who are taught to shut up and not question their elders. Players come with different attitudes and characteristics. A good coach is someone who can manager all these egos. Obviously,coach Appiah lacks managerial skills found in most elite coaches. The president should show some leadership and fire all the GFA members, including the coaching staff.
