As the FIFA rules stand, any attempt to force the GFA's hand by political means will back-fire and land Ghana soccer with a severe ban.
So, Nyantekyi needs to fully assess what has transpired and point us in a direction that can diffuse the current situation..
The Germans beat everyone except us and they are the world champions. So the heart of every Ghanaian is bleeding for what could have been if we had Coach Milovan Rajevac at this world-cup.
So, we as a nation, are paying
for Mr. Nyantekyi's failure to provide a coach who can manage affairs on and off the field with enough gravitas to hold these pampered Ghana international players in a patriotic mindset.
If the central role of the GFA is to run the local league and manage the national team, then why are we dealing with insubordinate players and an entire president coming out to give assurances to players before a game at the World Cup.
Did Rawlings, Kuffour or Mills(RIP) deal with any such "crap" during their tenures.
Who the hell are we kidding?
If Mr. Nyantekyi has any brains left, he would do everything in his power to bring Mr. Milovan Rajevac back to the national team as Coach.
Kwesi Appiah is a good coach but he is inconsistent and lacks fore-sight. His record with the Black Stars prove it. If you do not think so, then explain to yourself why he had to bring in Jordan Ayew and take-out KPB because the Germans took-out Jerome. Also, when we were ahead by two goals to one, the Germans brought-in Schweingsteiger and Klose to help them score. But, Appiah brought-in Agyeman-Badu and Wakaso, which showed that he was not willing to protect our lead by bringing on two additional defenders to shift our posture to a 2-4-4 formation with two additional defenders in the midst to protect our lead. Instead he was planning to beat the Germans by more goals and the changes he made proves his mind set. So, we were lucky to get the 2-2 draw in that game because the German forwards got stronger towards the end and got their equalizer.
Again, when we played the USA, Coach Appiah did not have a plan to salvage a draw game when the score was tied at 1-1 in the 83rd minute, instead the players were still trying to win it and any fool could see that luck was no longer at our side if it had taken us more than 80 minutes to find an equalizer.
So he should be demoted and kept as an assistant to Milovan Rajevac. Keep all the players if you want, they will not be revolting under him and Muntari can suck his thumb and shut-up. Rajevac can keep them in check.
Ghana needs a coach who is grounded enough to perceive our areas of weakness and protect us but also strong enough to capitalize on our obvious potential for greatness.
So, Mr. Nyantekyi, I do not know how long the president is willing to let you keep hurting the nation with your cheap solutions.

The lesson here for Mr. GFA is that we went to Fifa World-Cup 2006, lost to Brazil in the round of 16. Coach Ratomir Djukovic Salary $45000.00 Per. Month.
Then, we went to Fifa World-Cup 2010, lost to Uruguay in the quarter-finals. Coach Milovan Rajevac Salary $60,000.00 Per. Month.
Then, we went to Fifa World-Cup 2014, Did not get out of the group stage. Coach Kwesi Appiah Salary $20,000.00 Per. Month.
You guys wanted a Ghanaian to chop some of the money with your chanting :Its time for a local coach: Now you all see that we were poorer listening to our own advise.
Lesson: You cannot climb a mountain with cheap equipment. Good football costs a lot of money. So stop being cheap and hire Milovan Rajevac again.

This position is not meant for the greedy bastards. I wanted to go nut to nut with every issue raise but space and time will not allowed me but if you care to much put your email address and we go. But wait, if the government did not honoured it words by not paying the appearance fees after Ghana vs Netherlands which was may 26,2014 match to the players and kept giving conflicting dates just like what is being done to Ghanaian workers who have to go on strike for their demand to be met but the GFA chairman wrote to FIFA to assist but FIFA obliged only for monies to be airlifted that has made to nation lose international trust what has it got to do with Nyantakyi. When a minister assume the operations of a travel and tour company who were contracted to arrange hotels, transports for the fans were hijacked by the minister and his cronies what has Nyantakyi got to do with it. The list is endless. But there is going to be a commission of enquiry on all these and so brace your self with this fact and make your case there.

Issa hayatou is corrupt and yet he has been able to stay in office for so long. Like Hayayou, Nyantakyi uses bribery and fear tactics to threaten the congress members and executive members so they dont vote against him. If u vote him against him, then you are in trouble with him.This is the time for ghana to bring in our ex-footballers like Tony Baffoe, Abedi Pele, Marcell desailly, tony yeboah, ibrahim tanko and others who have played the game at the highest level to manage our football affairs...and not people who never even kicked tennis ball.

FYI, Read below countries cleaning house.....Brazilian footballing legend-turned-politician Romario on Wednesday stepped up criticism of Brazil's Football Confederation (CBF), demanding a clear out at the top.

During a World Cup which saw the five-time champions crushed in the semifinals by eventual champion Germany, 1994 champion Romario said the game's rulers were corrupt.

Now a lawmaker, he repeated his distaste for then in a speech to fellow lawmakers.

"Marco Polo del Nero is to lead the CBF for the next four years. Do you think this man is capable of overseeing change? I am sure he isn't," said Romario.

Del Nero will take over next year from Jose Maria Marin, but Romario thinks he is more of the same at the age of 73 – even if he is a decade younger than the incumbent.

"This obscure and clandestine election needs to be annulled," said Romario of last year's naming of De Nero as the new man in charge.

"Brazilian football doesn't deserve to be run by a gang which already showed itself incompetent ... which rakes in money and does with it as it sees fit but not for the good of our football."

And he warned without a CBF overhaul Brazil risked "a worse humiliation than the massacre at the Mineirao," the Belo Horizonte stadium where Brazil fell to the Germans.
