Better a lean bird in a wood than a fat one in a cage: Better to lose in dignity than to win battered by fellow Ghanaians. If any of the players concerned is anybody's brother, let that individual not stampede Mother Ghana into doing anything against her conscience for that brother. Nobody is indispensable in talent-filled Ghana. Respect and decency must always be upheld above anything else and especially when one playing in the name of honorable Ghana. Let no player look down on any Ghanaian official because he thinks he's financially wealthier than the relatively humbly-paid official. Such players have all the time to worship their wealth at home and not push anybody to worship them!
Let's not worship impudence for worship sake. If those players didn't grow up in good homes, this is not the time for them to be trained. That Boateng was in cahoot with proverbially spoiled Muntari, he, Boateng can't be innocent; for birds of the same feathers flock together. Ghana must remember: Once bitten twice shy.

When you are organized as a federation you can go far with young hungry players who may not be the best. In fact, Ghana went far in 2010 with a less talented team than this year. I think that we can just add a few young players to what we have and take AFCON 2015. Reduce the number of so called GFA officials and keep it simple and just play football that you know you can play.

However, we know very well that in Ghana when people did something bad to you, it is certain that they forgive and give a second chance. So, Yes, Kevin-Prince might have done something, and I was not there to judge anyone involved, so why Kwesi Appiah cannot give him another chance. Kevin-Prince Boateng is a good play, very good player, he is a professional player, yes there may be other people out there who may be able to play his position, but not as good as Kevin-Prince Boateng. It is simple as that. If you are a "hired gun", you should live up to that status. His approach of avoiding the qualifiers is wrong and in the end it cost him.

But because he is a hired gun, he is judged solely by his performance at gun fights.

Let's not forget that KPB plays for a very well organized football club in Germany and before A.C.Milan in Italy. We're not used to hearing such errant behavior from K.P.Boateng. He's a professional and that's all he has been. Something is not adding up in the sketchy half story. Even if KPB is a megalomaniac someone will have to provoke him unnecessarily to anger. His sub-par performance can be attributed to his mental state at the time. From a professional standpoint I'll lay blame squarely on the coach. He lacks self confidence and the technical competence to handle professional sportsmen at the highest level.

No player is indispensable: I don't think anybody should beg KP Boateng to return to the Black Stars. It takes more than skill to win tournaments. Germany won, because their players are not only skilled, but also VERY DISCIPLINED, tough-minded individuals. It doesn't matter whether the coach is Ghanaian or a foreigner: he needs to be respected: he's the leader: anarchy won't win tournaments.
KP & his like-minded have shown that they lack self-respect, self-discipline, & discipline for authority. The Black Stars would do better if they have disciplined & tough-minded players. You're not tough-minded if you lack self-discipline. Tough-minded people have solid self-control: they don't "blow their fuse" under pressure. You can't win with "air heads" & "hot heads".

He was ready to do battle for Ghana because of such comments he made and see what AA did unlike 2010, he benched him and we lost, Kevin saw that as the work of a useless coach that's why he got mad with AA. Was he indiscipline in 2010 when the Serbian realized his potential and featured him in every match from start. Today he hes been compelled to apologize and eat a big fat humble pie we would have met the Germans in the final and beat them but thanks to clueless Appiah that's why Kevin was mad, we lost on a silver platter.
