  While commending the GFA/former Sports Minister (Hon. Afriyie Ankrah) for taking this bold decision, I wish to suggest that the whole exercise be well researched and planned carefully to ensure that:
  i) It is extended to all former Black Star players; irrespective of whether they have won a trophy or not. The reward package may however take care of level of participation/achievement, etc
  
  ii) It is not a one-off exercise; but sustainable enough to cater for all other future 'former' Black Star players.
