  As for Kwarasey, he is a fine kid but made the mistake of listening to Boateng/Muntari/Essien and aligning with them. The fact is that any one player including Kwarasey is DISPENSABLE. All those players need the Black Stars as much as the Stars may need them; there is plentiful of good and talented players eager for the pride and opportunity to play for Ghana. Kwarasey may be able to return in the future after he apologizes to the GFA and Appiah for his unfortunate stance and comments. There has to be discipline, else no amount of talent can take the Black Stars anywhere.
  
  By the way, the heading for this news item is wrong -- when you're talking about "smoothing" things over, that is no "showdown". Showdown implies a fight.
