  To me Opare has never been a good player.He's had good contacts hence his ability to play in some good teams but his quality always pulls him back.Just look at his performance at the WC.

  Brazil expoesd all the fake players like Opare,Essien,Boateng,Atsu,Kwarasey and Waris.These players upon closer inspection turns out to be bench warmers and mediocre players.

  Only Opare and Waris are over-hyped, the rest have good track records. A weak Essien is ten times better than Sumaila, Rahman or any other player in that midfield position.
