Does that mean a whole Ministry of Sports and the Minister did not know about FIFA and other international rules governing such matches? It beggars belief but Mahama/NDC incompetence is baffling. However, to say that dogs are better is going to the extreme.

No single country in the world has a preserve of good performance at the world cup stage, least to mention Ghana's Black Stars who are just a recent entrants. Spain the defending chsmpions were humiliated out in the first round. Brazil the host country were disgraced out in a manner never happened before in a world cup. Ghanaians should not decieve themselves into believing Black Stars have become a regular world cup performers such that can be ranked with the regular Cathederals of the likes of Germany, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Holland etc. Ghanais still remains within the infant group of world cup attendants and should not waste their sweat thinking good performance definately reside in the Black Stars.

What is wrong with the system? Our leaders seem to be disappointing us every now and then. Is Mahama Ayariga and his people at the Sports Ministry telling us that they need to go back to school to learn how to declare a football match free?

It is a pity that people in government are still disappointing the masses through whose support they got to the positions they find themselves today. I want to caution those appointees who are embarrassing the President and making him a laughingstock among the opposition that posterity would never forgive them if their actions and in-actions send the NDC to opposition.

Decision making can be likened to leaping over a trench.You look before you leap but not the other way round. So what Ayariga and his team ought to have done before coming out with the decision to declare the match free is to consider the implication. You don't announce to the excitement of football fans that the match would be free only to turn round to say that because of this and that the match can no longer be free.

The NDC government is not under any curse so appointees are advised to stop embarrassing themselves and the President.

I taught for ten years and the first class I handled was class one.in fact this class is wonderful.they do what you don't expect of them to do.Their behaviour makes strategies of class control learn at the teacher training colleges looks stupid.They just don't care or mind.They would help u to appoint a class PREFECT and the next hour they want you to demote him on baseless accusation.for example the prefect did not share his small food to the class at break.if u ask them further,they would still say he's doing his assigned duties by the teacher in the class alright yet he must still be demoted for non sharing of his food.The tension gets soo hot that the prefect himself would resign no matter what measures I put in place for him/her.Aside all these,there a class PREFECT we nominated and he was smart.He had to map his own strategies in addition to mine that worked to perfection.Examples are,he would fish out which teacher leads the school worship the next Wednesday,tells him the problems in his class and the begs the said teacher to include in his preaching indirectly.He would come to tell me that I must come to the market square during break times.By so doing,they won't beg his food as he loves his position.I did it and it worked perfectly.when I look at the NDC party as a whole,I conclude that that class one PREFECT did his best than all the so called NDC ministers are doing.look at how they are mismanaging Ghana's economy in the areas of sports,energy,fuel etc.Just look at how Afriyie Ankra messed up the whole world cup that is Ghana's favourite and immediately,changed his posts for another by their president.in fact that my class PREFECT did better than all thes

Authorities should not even dream of a FREE GATE as it would not be possible to regulate and maintain order at the stadium. Scaling down the gate fee is the best decision to take. Good luck to the Stars.
