This is an emotional please. Sadly some of us in Africa are so primitive that we cannot attribute any incident o accident or natural cause. We have so much belief in witch crafts and attribute all our failings to demons. We are in the 21st century and people need to move on and leave all this ancient belief and ignorance behind.
These guys are grieving and need to be supported. I totally think this Graphic reporter was wrong if in deed that was his line of questioning to this grieving family.
If People go to school including that of journalism and they still hold onto such beliefs as spiritual sacrifice for this football player to enhance his career then we have a long way to achieve what has been done in the West. Pastors take advantage to enrich themselves and people flock to their

The fact that he was in a life jacket is the more reason why this is a mystery and the police is rightly treating them as "missing" and not on just dismissing the case on the assumption of them having drowned even though from deductions, one can come to that conclusion. Until we find them or their bodies, they are still missing persons.

It is very painful when Ghanaians who are supposed to the educated people act so stupidly just to defame a person. Many still believe it was human sacrifice to enhance Asamoah Gyan's game. How can we believe that in this day and age? Some prophets, prophetesses and fetish priests/priestesses claiming "Mama Water" involvement make me sad for Ghana. Many Ghanaians claim they go to church too. I cannot imagine what the case will be if Ghanaians did not claim to be christians with some many churches close to any gutter in the country. Pathetic

Well I am from Germany and spend many holidays in Ghana since 2003. Whenever I find time I go to LA Badi Beach for a swim in the Ocean. I swim since I was a 5 Year Boy and do it well. But I have Lot of respect about what can happen arround Gulf of Benin. There is a very strong Stream going in direction Tema and very tricky, this happens under the water surface. The stream is fast going, arround 15 km/ hour and is very strong.
A Person who is Not able to swim proper has no chance to survive. I take my body- Board with me because I do wavesurfing. I would never leave the Beach line more than 50 meters without my Board
To find the two missing bodies Police must understand these facts. I would extend the search to the Togo Waters.

Apart from the obvious possibility that they fell and drowmed in the water, they could also have been taken by kidnappers and that explains why somebody is claiming that he knows where they are. They may not be dead afterall.
