  I was surprised when they were begged to come back and play for Ghana. What NONSENSE! Did the Black Stars not expose them to the world to be who they are today???
  
  What happened after bringing them back? Brazil was a fiasco because players and officials EGOS, SELFISHNESS AND GREED!!!!
  
  We do not need our citizens to hold us to ransom! Let's look for serious players who would die for the nation...no matter what! It's about time we stop massaging players egos and let them go!!!! They only create indiscipline in camps. There are better ones looking for such opportunities.
  
  Our soldiers are sent to places where death could strike any time, any day....even they, do not hold our nation to ransom.

  What at all is it that is making most Ghanaians behave like they are uncultured and uncivilized? If you are presented with an opportunity to express yourself in public, you ought to use it wisely and judiciously. What did Essien say or do to warrant usage of words like "selfish" on his personality? Is this best you can do? Its very unfortunate how Ghanaians of today take advantage of every little opportunity to exhibit their ignorance. I believe you guys could have done better than what you have just done. Lets learn to discuss issues without emotions. Essien is a world icon and he is one of the best players to have emerged from Ghana. Accord him respect and you will be respected as well. Ghana deserves better. Thank you.

  He could have easily stayed out of the Black Stars for good! He had and still has a choice!
  
  And that is what I call discussing issues. If money is not used right or properly, I have every right to say it as I see fit...........to both the players and officials.
  
  Respect is a two way thing; one gives and earns respect.........but not when you hold my hopes to ransom, with your SELFISH ACTIONS!!!
