  It was their sweat money and they could put it anywhere, but do understand what the ex-Coach is saying.The point he is making is that leaving the money in their backpacks in the dressing room affected their concentration. Imagine playing football and at the same time thinking: "what if someone breaks into the dressing room and steals my money?" How will you concentrate? Rather you will be praying for the game to end quickly regardless of the result,so that you can go and check that your money is safe.

  There is no doubt that the GFA is a corrupt organization. But in the last 12 years the organization has never reneged on its promise to pay players' bonuses. So what the heck was going on with the players most of whom earn millions of dollars a year? Most of these players would have earned contracts that worth millions of dollars had Ghana qualified for the next stage of the world cup. These players are not intelligent enough. Why don't European players threaten to boycott matches?
