There are many fields where Ghana lacks the needed expertise. To solve this problem the government of Ghana has over the decades made scholarships available for the needed human resource to be trained abroad. In some cases so many people were sent and not even one returned. If you know you are not prepared to work and live in Ghana and would therefore not return do not take the scholarships.

John " The Scoring Machine" Boye had been one of the major problems since day one in Brazil. Initially the Silent Killer assigned him a defensive position in the Black Star squad. But that was exactly the beginning of the woes of the Black Stars and a tormenting nightmare for the Ghanaian soccer fans.

He combines flashes of brilliance with frightening recklessness that
has to be seen to be believed. He has scored on Kwarasey and he has scored on Fatawu Dauda.He has scored for USA, Germany, Portugal and Uganda. His generosity was really excessive in WC 2014 in Brazil.

Sometimes you will think his actions were in protest against the GFA for failing to "show him the money". But no. This was not the case. As soon as Mahama's money arrived, John Boye gregariously kissed the money like a drunken Spanish sailor. Then he hauled the money to the dressing room in a sack and everyone thought he might change his technique. No. He scored one and almost scored another goal against Ghana as the Commander Silent Killer watched the showdown from the touchline. No immediate action was taken against Boye until now. Will Konadu bring Boye back into the squad? Maybe yes and maybe no.

I never like his style of playing and on top of all this FOOL scored an own goal at the world cup. He should be dropped from the national team. Useless defender.
