I have said many many times only a knock headed myopic and inwarding looking leadership will give the Black Star job to Milovan Rajevac. Infact it was wrong for GFA to bow to Milovan Rajevac when he came down for an interview for the TA job and said he only want to be the coach. Milovan Rajevac had been fired on every job he took since he left the Black Star job and if this does not tell one that he is not good.

I wonder how Ghana claims not to be rich, pays some paltry salary to our own coaches, but are willing to cough out a lot of money for foreign (classless) coaches.
I for one NEVER liked Kwesi Appiah's tactics; he seemed clueless. Nor was I so much in love with Atuquayefio as Black Stars coach; he loved just the local folks. But I think Ghana deserves to have better-skilled managers.
Looking at Money as a major factor and then the idea of 'ability to control the boys', I believe it would be WONDERFUL, in the long run, for Ghana to commit some of our local coaches to GO ON ATTACHMENTS (INTERNSHIPS) with some of the biggest clubs out there. Give them all the tools they need. Bring them back home, and let them manage our teams. If we have money for some 'not-so-good' Europeans, then let's train our own coaches, and use them.
If we're going for the class of Mourhino, Guardiola, etc, and can afford it, then it is okay. If not, ... these sub-coaches are NOT the best for us.

The difference between the 2 is that kluivert is a hustla, a risk taker and has studied under more than 1 boss. He will go anywhere to learn or be an assistant. He is more of a risk taker than pont. Interested local coaches should sponsor themselves. This way they can go for the market value (Salaries).

I'm in agreement with you. Sometimes, all that some people need is a little opportunity or exposure and they will touch and kiss the sky. If Kluivert is good enough to become assistant coach of the Dutch National Team at the World Cup in Brazil then he's ready to take on the world. He's ready for prime time. The assistant should be good enough to coach the team should the coach suddenly become indisposed and is not able to perform his duties as coach the assistant should have no problem stepping into his big shoes. The Dutch National Team were second runners up which means the team is a highly technical team. Kluivert also has youthfulness on his side which is a major advantage for him.

If after appointing these coaches, we are still going to witness , DRAW,LOSS,DRAW,WIN . I mean the same not-so-encouraging results we are used to then what's the point of hiring these foreign coaches and paying them so much money at the expense of more important development projects.
We are going to compare their results with AA.
If after one year , we don't get the expected result, that should be it for foreign coaches.
We should wise up and strike a between the cost of hiring a foreign coach and the expected result.
There should always be an assistant Ghanaian coach who can take over from these 'better' coaches once we realize they are no better than our local coaches.

This really goes to show the extent of the low-levelled football management mentality of the so-called men at the top of GFA executive membership. As we all know for now, for no apparent reason at all Mr Kwesi Appiah, an accomplished African Football Coach is relieved of his coaching responsibilities, and soon to be replaced by a foreign coach. What is at stake now, (probably GFA members haven't even thought of)- none of these foreign coaches lined up to replace Mr Kwesi Appiah has ever been involved with senior Football management in any African country, and likewise may not have done any serious coaching of an all black African team with much over-bearing temperaments as seen displayed recently amongst some members of the Black Star Players in Brazil. The truth could be that the GFA is completely out of its depth, totally devoid of intelligent football management, the GFA executive members however believe that European Coaches possess magic wands that would one day soon bring home the World Cup to Ghana. Dream on Mr Kwasi Nyantakyi & Co. When will the current GFA executive members ever learn to believe in and respect African Coaches?
