  In modern soccer coaches do not teach basics of soccer. The national team is like soccer University so you do not go there to thought the rudiments of the game. To say that a coach should teach a player who has to a simple decision as whether he or a team mate had the better chance of scoring is nonsense.
  Appiah may have his faults but this is below belt

A student could fail no matter how good the teacher is. Was this Attram expecting the coach to instruct Jordan to send a pass on the field? that sounds mere stupidity.
