  I agree perfectly with the local coaches’ decision. The timing was wrong in sacking Akwasi Appiah. I think GFA goofed by signing a 2 year contract with AA before the world cup. The world cup should have been rather used to access if he deserved an extension, and be kicked right after the world cup but not after winning a match against Togo. The right things can be done at wrong times. AA has suffered unfair treatment twice under GFA; as a former captain of the Black stars and as a Coach of the same national team. I am calling on Rev. Martey to say it again. Where are the wise people in Ghana now?

Can any of these gh coaches control, tame the egos of these foreign based players? What do these gh coaches have in common with these players? Have they coached or played in Europe before? Let me.glve you something to marinate on. The most successful nba coach is Phil Jackson. He won a title with the nyknicks and later won titles as coach with players like jordan, pippen, Rodman, shaq, kobe. Now, all these players I've mentioned had gargantuan egos! So ask yourself how Phil Jackson was able to win with such calibre players? Look at Phil' accomplishments.........

  Kwesi Appiah was treated this way simply because he is a local coach. We were all in Ghana when Claud Leroy came and messed up at the "Host and Win" AFCON IN Ghana, yet given an extension when he was not even interested. The GFA was begging him all over the place to take the job but he snubbed them. What was Coach Appiah's offence. The whole plot, spearheaded by K Nyantekyie is to make way for the return of Milo. Its as simply and straightforward as that. Watch my word.

  Oti, do not be surprised for you are part of the problem.You shd have come out to rally for our own coches, encourage and help train them. You all know what you`re doing at the GFA but watch out.
