That doesn't mean there couldn't be another person in his place.

The onus of the matter is about the players. Get the right players instituted and and everything shall fall in place.
If Konadu should fail at all, there should be uncountable Konadus in the system that can gear up. Going for the white vulture makes the second fiddle of all time.

It is just unfortunate for some people to misuse their freedom of speech. Lack of knowledge my people perish says the good book. who told you a foreign coach can help the Black Stars? The mere fact that Appiah messed up does not mean all local coaches cannot play that role. Appiah was only a litmus paper and lacked a lot of leadership qualities. Besides he had not handle any team as a head coach prior to his appointment. His psychological complex also played him down. Now we have a stop cock who I trust ch hold the fort and subsequently becomes the substantive coach. He has done before and I trust can handle the Black Stars than any foreign coach who would love to experiment with the team. The local coaches are capable. Tell the media to be circumspect with them and the job would be done.

Duncan was doing okay then he gets sacked by Hearts even though the fans loved him. now compare r that with elsewhere. How many coaches manages national team after only a year of managing a top club? My argument is if Konadu won a few more titles with Kotoko or someone else, if Duncan's etc are supported to work at the top level for a good few years, if any local coach can win one of the African Club competitions and with their own unique style as in Arsene Wenger going unbeaten in EPL then by all means i will support the local coaches but for now please not local coaches. Besides if we keep appointing people before they are ready we could end losing some serious good talents rather than seeing them flourish. I think Konadu is gaining experience by the day but he is not ready yet nor is Tanko or Joe Addo etc.May be Bobo but then Ghana came third at the last world u21 yet we see meteors and u21 called up and its all new names and locally based. But if our youth manages ignore Assifuahs, Partey, Quyes, etc and some of our youths plying their trade in Europe and elsewhere how do we ever get to have a BS in the future who actually the best that we have? and what is Bobo's unique style? I think if we want to see a local coach do it for the BS then start off with setting up a coaching school of Excellence with Senior local coach and an experienced foriegn technical director initially. With time the real hero will come along. As for whiteman this and whiteman that, please read Fanon and the three stages of the effect of colonialism and slave trade on the negroid. First stage is to try to copy oppressor and reject one's own entirely,; the second stage is to reject everything of the oppressor and hail your own even when they are more wicked than the foriegn oppressor but the third and the creal thing is to reject the oppressor, but condemn the foolishness of your own that enabled yourself to be exploited and copy the good things and strenghts of the oppressor and incorporate that with your strenght, that way the oppressor cannot come and oppress you any longer. What do these gh coaches have in common with these players? Have they coached or played in Europe before? Let me.glve you something to marinate on. The most successful nba coach is Phil Jackson. He won a title with the nyknicks as an nbaplayer and later won titles as coach with players like jordan, pippen, Rodman, shaq, kobe. Now, all these players I've mentioned had gargantuan egos! So ask yourself how Phil Jackson was able to win with such calibre players? To answer that question, look at Phil' accomplishments and where he played.
