Tardelli was fired in egypt and tell me what he has managed to achieve as deputy coach with Ireland? We want a youthful,.risk taking, energetic coach to manage the bstars. SUCCESSFUL youthful.coaches who have succeeded include lowe, rijkaard, dunga, pep Guardiola, di Matteo, renard of zambia......we need young coaches who are willing to take risks and are innovative like Kluivert

He was a distinguished player with good clubs, learnt under coaches of high pedigree and he is a black, who will understand the Stars better than these burnt-out coaches who just want to secure their pension funds. PK I s young, agile and professional and will be the right choice for boys. GFA, no lilibi, no awam. We are watching. We don't want any Mossad-trained spy to come and coach our boys.

Is he coming to play for the Black Stars or what?

Sellas Tetteh won a world cup, for crying out loud! Don't you think he should have been groomed to have taken over the national team - with the experience he acquired during that process of WINNING the WORLD CUP??? Whether a kndergarten world cup or not??????

Youth soccer is not the same as seniors team. Let Sellas.TETTEH.coach chan team,.olympics team and succeed or apprenticed under a world class coach,.first. It will help his credibility with the senior players. This is the same reason why Konadu will also not succeed as gbstars coach.

Non Aligned: I feel where you are coming from but the reality with GFA and the players is that they need someone who is familiar with the culture but is not directly connected. Kluivert is equivalent to a foreign born Ghanaian in the sense that as an Afro-Dutch person he definitely interacted with the large Ghanaian population in the Netherlands. He has the pedigree as a footballer and assistant coach and he would be able to adjust culturally without letting GFA or the players bully him around. This may be a great formula. I do not think it is about race but it comes down to having a certain cultural comfort zone.

Other SENSIBLE nations would have built on his experience and developed him to become the national team coach.....but we in Ghana always prefer different people to do everything for us.

How on earth are we ever going to learn and apply anything ourselves??
Even to the extent of improting toothpicks from China???????

Can anyone tell me what any of these coaches have won at international level? Zilch!! And yet we throw their names around as if they are better than our own.

We have always won honours with our local coaches....so, why the fuss?

The local coaches we won with at the senior level didn't have to deal with any foreign based player egos. Marinate on that......think and don't be emotional in your decision making

There was George Alhassan and if my memory serves me right...the latter days of Mohammed Polo. They used their BRAINS and NOT egos to play football and respected the local coaches and more importantly 'PLAYED' fro their country Ghana!

So, to advocate foreign player egos as the reason for local coaches not to be given the opportunity to coach the Black Stars.....beggars belief.

Please don't just think....apply some COMMON SENSE to your thoughts...and I believe, it may serve you good, one day!

I will go for Patrick Kluivert for the Black Stars coaching job. If you paid attention to all the games in which the Netherlands team played in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, he was essentially telling the Dutch coach, Louis van Gaal what to do, how to call the plays. He was seen on several occasions whispering to van Gaal. Patrick Kluivert has acquired lots of technical skills under his belt.

Considering this and his fame as a striker in Barcelona and in the Dutch national team, and his roles as assistant coach in several Dutch teams, I wouldn't hesitate to even make him the manager of the Black Stars team. Don't let his youthful looks fool you.

Please Ghana, do the right thing and pick Kluivert. He has it, has been through it, and seen it all. He is young, affable, hungry to succeed and will command respect and be able to impart his knowledge of the beautiful game.

Keshie is still not under contract and Ghana, I am certain, could be of considerable interest to him. Let us give him a call and let' s see his reaction. Alternatively, we could approach him through a third party and assess if he will be at all interested in moving to the Black Stars.

We need a real coach but not Grant who work as Player's Agent for his boss Zahavi.
Grant's job is transfer of the players not a coach. From that reason he never made some significant success as head coach. Money first.
